A very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to you all!

Well I hope all your Christmas and New Year celebrations are going to plan. I’ve said it a few times but I really don’t quite know where this year has gone! Flown by.

This time of year is by far the busiest at QVC but also one of the most enjoyable.

Wonderful Lee Hohbein, who kindly guests for QVC with technology, recently extended his talents to baking! He made the most delicious and fabulously decorated ginger bread biscuits. He kindly brought them into QVC to share with us all. I think he made 100! I had more than one… six to be precise!! Really tasty! Watch out Great British Bake Off 😉

I’ve enjoyed a few beautiful days off and had some glorious walks with my Cairns. The weather has been very, very cold but we’ve managed to catch some winter sunshine.

I’ve also caught some great TV. How brilliant is the Michael McIntyre show on a Saturday evening? Love it, especially the Unexpected Star and Reply to All!

So, looking ahead to January and 2018 is set to be another exciting year at QVC so be sure to watch out for more fabulous offers and shows.

For now though I hope you have a very magical Christmas and New Year. I know though that this time of year can be particularly hard for many to whom I send my thoughts and good wishes.

For me it will be a very quiet (if at all possible with two noisy Cairns!) Christmas and New Year with my family. Lots of TV, games, food (of course!) and hopefully several pairs of new socks!

I’ll leave you for now with one of my favourite Christmas cracker jokes!!

Q. Where did the Elf go to fix his poorly knee?

A. The National ‘Elf’ Service!

Take care and see you soon.

Yes its been very cold I am nursing a hot water bottle as I write this but I still love this time of year . Putting wellies on and going for long walks . Really like emu’s on qvc but had to send mine back in less than a year a hole came in the toe but they were like putting your feet into a cloud so warm and cosy tempted to try them again . Have a lovely Xmas don’t eat too much but I expect you will don’t know how you keep so slim !! My wish to you is a healthy and prosperous new year xx

Hi Betty and thanks for your message. I did eat plenty of food… Far too much so I need to be on good behaviour with healthy eating in 2018!!

In fact I’m heading out for a walk with the dogs in a minute!

    Happy New Year.
