As always, I hope all’s well with all.
The end of another busy week at The Q with Morning Shows and Lunchtime shows – must say I’m really enjoying them whilst I can as I’ve noticed some late shifts looming in the distance with my name on them.
Actually, I’m working evenings this coming weekend and I’ll be presenting a new fan heater from Dyson – the AM09. Now I am a big fan (ha!) of the hi-tech Dyson AM05 hot/cool fans but they’ve raised the bar again with the AM09 as it features Jet Focus Control which delivers two styles of air flow (focussed or diffused), it is noticeably quieter (up to 75% less than previous models) and it also features a sleep timer. I wish I could give you a first-hand experience report, but my son gets very hot at night and on top of A level stress he hadn’t been sleeping well, so as a kind and thoughtful Dad (Father’s Day is just around the corner Jack!) I let him try it out, in the hope that it helped him sleep and well… it did! He loves it and at the time of writing still has it in his bedroom – now I’m not suggesting that the AM09 was designed as a sleep aid but it’s helped Jack and as the Americans say “go figure”. If it helps him get essential shut-eye prior to his exams, then I’m very happy. We already have the AM05, which my daughter loves because she revises in our conservatory, which isn’t centrally heated, so it keeps her warm in winter and cool in summer. I’ll be presenting the fab new Dyson AM09 Today’s Special Value at 5pm & 8pm on Sunday. Before I showed it to Jack, as a light-hearted bit of fun, I let Toby try it out after a hot walk – see the results below.

Needless to say we have an amazing price and three easy pays – yes, a considered purchase but we all absolutely love the AM09 – try it out in your home for up to 30 days and feel the difference.
On Saturday I’ll be talking tech with our Samsung Smart TV TSV and bringing you the last show in our Elemis 20th Anniversary series, an honour, having presented the first on Wednesday with the lovely spa scented Keeley Aidin, the Elemis international beauty therapist.
Dale’s Naturewatch
Thought I’d share another wildlife photo with you – a perky robin snapped this week in my garden. Unfortunately, I caught a neighbour’s ginger tom red-handed, as he raided her nest and luckily she escaped but sadly her chicks didn’t. Although a dog lover, I’m certainly not anti-cats. I know they’re doing what their instinct tells them but it really annoys me that they seem to do it for fun rather than as a food source? I found all the chicks the next morning close to the nest. Hopefully she’ll raise another brood this summer.
Until next time take care and stay spa fragrant!
Dale

Oh Toby you are so beautiful and such an advert for dyson although I would rather buy you . Unfortunately your Daddy won’t part with you but I understand. Also loving the pictures of wild life Dale. You are really talented in that department, watch out Matt!
Bye for now Fran
Thank you Fran, Toby is such a great dog, we are very lucky to have him. I’ve always loved wildlife and my new lens gets me closer to it. Many thanks Dale x
Hi Dale great blog as always-i am been watching the Chelsea flower show at home with a coffee-great isn’t it! I wanted to ask you -what do you know now- that you didn’t know BEFORE about presenting at QVC after you had started? x
That’s a great Q Valerie. I think I’ve learnt more about Jewellery since being at The Q, as I knew nothing prior to joining and now I know a little more 🙂 Dale x

Hi Dale, Fabulous Photo of the Robin. Here in Spain we have the Robin Redbreast in November/December stop off for the warmth and re-fuel on their way to the U.K. it’s lovely to see them and the other Migrating Birds….
WITHOUT A DOUBT – YOU MUST Enter the Photographic Competition which “Country File” hold for their Annual Calendar (all Sales to Children in Need) because you will certainly be in with a good chance of Winning…. so keep snapping and pick out a stunner to send.
Thank you Patsy, I’ve snapped a few more for you including a beautiful Roe Deer, which I’ll share soon – funnily enough my Mum also mentioned that competition ! Dale x
