A quiet week in January

Craig enjoying his pub lunchHello there,

Hope you are well and settling into 2012?

I have had a great week, pretty uneventful and quiet – just what I have needed!! All I've really done is catch up on some things at home, have (another!) de-clutter and sort out and try to get a few early nights.

Some of the highlights have been a wonderful pub lunch with friends last Sunday. We went to a pub called the Regent, just down from where I live – I had the vegetarian mushroom wellington roast with all the trimmings. Enjoyed it next to a roaring fire, how lovely is that? You can see me grinning ear to ear in the picture!

Also had a great evening at QVC on Tuesday with the wonderful Kelly Hoppen, I so love working with her. Also fab Steiff show, did you see it? Wasnt the pug soooo cute? I knew it would sell out fast!

I have also been lucky enough to experience the new Yankee Candle TSV, which I am launching with Micheala on Sunday night. If you can stay up, do - it will be great fun! I had fun trying out the candles all over my flat; fragrancing the bathroom for a relaxing bath, dotting the candles amoung my buddhas in the living room for a calm atmosphere and even as a centre piece when my flatmate made me a lovely roast (oh dear, lots of roast dinners going on!)

I'm soooo excited about this Yankee TSV – it contains brand new fragrances for 2012, all in large jar candle size, and available on seasonal auto delivery – all great reasons to stay up for the launch!

Have a great weekend, see you Sunday night for the Yankee TSV!

Much love,

Hi Craig. I can’t wait for this tsv. It should arrive in fine time for my birthday on Friday. My little treat! I’m still burning mistletoe and fig which I bought LAST christmas! They really do last. Hope you have a good week and don’t sell out my tsv too early! Love Janice

    Hi Craig
Sorry I called you a wus!!!! Lewes is lovely but a little dull – maybe because I was born there and as a teeenager it was extremely dull!!! I love Yankee too although I tend to use the wax tarts mainly and I would love it if you could twist Micheala’s arm for more sets of tarts please!!!!
    You are my favourite!!!

Hi Lyndsey, thanks so much for your comment, I love that hat too, although I always think I should have a sweep and rod and get sweeping chimneys!! Hope you liked the Yankee Shows?!

    Hi Janice!
Did you get your TSV? I didnt think we would sell out early as we had a LOT of stock!! If I ever think something may go early I will always give you forewarning! Have your candles arrived yet? I cannot wait for the summer drop and also for camomile tea on the autumn, oh now I am wishing the year away!!
Hope you are well, thanks for reading and commenting, its great hearing from you on here!

    Hi Sarah!!
haha, dont worry about calling me a wus, its true!! They were close though, haha!!
I will pass that comment onto Michaela about more wax tarts, its a good point and they tend to be more seasonal ones in stock.
Are they any combinations in particular you would like to see? I can pass this info onto Michaela and the buyers…..
    Lovely to hear from you!

    Hi Craig
I personally tend to like the “non food” type wax tarts like Island Spa, Beach Walk, Napa Sun; Midsummers Night. I like some floral it is just the foodie type ones which are no good for me!!! I don’t even mind a small set!!! I know there have been seasonal sets before – but not often enough!!!
P.S. I suppose fireworks can be a little scary – I will let it go now though!!
