A preview of Thursday’s TSV from Frank Usher

Very excited to be able to reveal all about the Frank Usher Today’s Special Value coming up this Thursday 12th November at Midnight, with shows at 11am, 4pm, and 7pm. Of course the wonderful June Poster will be with me as well, to take us through the evening packed full of the range’s wonderful fashion jewellery. We had such fun earlier this year launching the first ever TSV for the range, that they decide to put us together again, as ‘partners in style crime’ for you all.

You might have already bought some of the choice fashion pieces that we offer from the range like the jumpers, ponchos and scarves, but we wanted to offer you all a fabulous deal on something extraordinary to wear this AW 2015 season. Capes are all the rage, but you ain’t seen nothing like this one from Frank Usher.

It’s a comfortingly soft, warming and uber-luxurious cape in a substantial acrylic fabric, with oodles of sumptuous faux fur around the neck and cuffs. If I had to give it a Strokability Percentage Rating, it’d be 1,000%

There are four colours – you see me in the Navy and the Cream but there’s also a luscious Black, and a Dove Grey. As you can see from video and the photos, the colours are true and rich. And the good news is it’s one size fits all!

I’ve taken a tape measure to it so here are the measurements (approximately):

  • Faux collar length all the way around  = 10cm (4″)
  • Cuff faux fur thickness = 17cm (7″)
  • Full length of cape at longest point (from the nape of the neck to the base of the cape down the middle) – 81cm (32″)
  • The entire span from far left edge to right edge is 190cm (75″)
  • Care instructions = Machine washable at 40C, don’t be tempted to tumble dry. Dry flat only!

The point of the twirl video of course is for you to see the size of it, the shape, the flow and the fur! You can see it tapers up slightly around the side. It’s all in one piece, the collar doesn’t detach. You pop it on over the shoulder and slip your arms through the holes at the end, so once it’s on, it’s not slipping off your shoulders! It’s so snuggly around the neck, you won’t want to remove it.

Marv cape

You’ll certainly cause a stir when you turn up at a party, or a night out with friends and family this party season. Of course, beyond Christmas this is going to be a chic way of stepping out and about in the January sales, without being overloaded with a mega-heavy coat on your travels. What a way to make an entrance!

I can’t reveal the price yet, but believe you me, for the butter soft fabric, the sheer size of cape and abundance of faux fur, our price represents spectacular value.

Can’t wait for you to join June and I (and our model) at midnight on Thursday 12th November  for the TSV and more wonderful Frank Usher Jewellery!

Loving the look of this Marv, have been looking for a cape/poncho for some little while. This is looking great for my needs, thank you for the heads up. Will be watching the show xxx

Gorgeous Cape. Love, love, love it.
Don’t sell out before 7am please as I’m an early bird, not a night owl. X

Love your video Marv – you should be on the catwalk regularly! Music is very catchy too. As for the Cape itself, my word, it does look luxurious and typical of the Frank Usher brand. Would love to buy one for Mum but not sure if she would wear it as she prefers things that fasten – although I’m sure it could be secured with a brooch on one side – will be watching the TSV anyway and keep up the modelling lol! x

Marvellous what a beautiful Cape. It’s a must have. Love all the colours and you demonstrate really well on how it flows. It would look good with Jeans as well

It looks great on you, Marv, but may be rather long on me.
I was wondering whether the grey would be a similar colour to the ash Emu TSV boots I bought a few months ago. The boots are grey with a hint of lilac.
I imagine being Frank Usher, it’s probably meant to be smartish, but never mind 😉
I’ll be watching at midnight on Thursday xx

Love the look of this, hope it is not too expensive.
I like the music on this video as it allows you to twirl & show us what it is like, but on something that doesn’t require you to do this a commentary would be good xx

You look fabulous in it! Love the dove grey.

To everyone who commented – thanks so much. Glad you like the cape – I reckoned a twirl – was the best way to show it off. It’s a great price. Forgot to say there’s a hook and eye fastening near the top but because of those armholes you can be sure it’ll stay put. get your thinking caps on, girls…Will you be wearing yours with a long flowing dress? A tunic top and jeans & boots like me? OR will it be wide-leg trousers and heels with a sparkly bag for that Big Night Out. The armholes are big enough for you to get a jumper underneath it too and be nice and cosy and warm
