I don’t know where the time has flown to I really don’t. I have just sat down to write to you and made a perfect cup of tea, bearing in mind I only have one cup a day, only to find there is NO MILK isn’t that just the most frustrating thing.
So tea aside, how are we all doing? Managing this weather change okay? And the acceleration as per normal towards the 25th… yup that’ll be CHRISTMAS DAY for those of you who are floating around in denial. It’s okay as it’s still early November… we can do this!
Thank you all so much for entering my last blog competition, the beautiful choker from Pilgrim was won by… Caroline Cranfield! Congratulations, I hope you love it.
I am certainly loving the autumnal colours still holding on out there, till all the leaves are completely lost and it becomes barren and grey. This year it has made me think I want to change my hair colour to warmer hues…
I always was a really warm, strawberry blonde its just gotten ashier and ashier ( insert grey!), so I’ve been rooting out some old pictures and have actually boldly made an appointment to discuss. Yes I know I cannot believe the sheer bravery of me either, we shall see though as I know I just cannot handle the hairdressers regularly so if I can’t maintain at home I’m not sure I will do anything.
Talking of colour just look at this beautiful pink Nina Leonard coatigan (sounds so much nicer than cardeoat) I have the fabulous Gill Gauntlett to thank for this little piece of divineness. I popped into her dressing room area and spied it hanging up, next thing I know I’m trying hers on, ordering it and then ordering one for my lovely Mummy too as it was her birthday. I absolutely love it and was super excited when it arrived to realise its the same colour as my “fluff” as i call her. An extravagance I bought a couple of years ago but have worn loads and even wore at Mummy’s wedding earlier this year, so the bonus I can glam it up or down however the mood takes me.
Oh and Mummy loved it too so it does cross all ages, though we refrained from both wearing it that evening… a step too far! and I don’t have a picture to show you , she’s more camera shy than me!
If you like it then don’t dilly dally as I know not many were bought in.
As we pick up pace toward December our beauty brands pull out all the stops and we are spoilt with the extravagance yet value of their “Christmas Today’s Special Values”
Personally I order along with so many of you because even after all these years and all these offers I am astounded by them.
Elemis has just had their “biggie”, Liz Earle too and now is the turn of Decleor. I buy with intention to gift and split into gifts but it doesn’t always go to plan I must admit and my shelves become just a little fuller!
Decleor have spoilt us, the Today’s Special Value offer for this Saturday 19th is superbly thought through and will ensure our skin will be at its optimum for this tasking time of year and onward into 2017. It is a six-piece Radiant Skin Gift Collection with all full sizes.
Hydration is key at this time of year and covered beautifully by Hydra Floral Rich. Micellar Water is seriously swift and yet does a powerful job of removing all the makeup and grime from face and eyes. I shall have to hide it from the daughter now panto rehearsals are underway. The “blue” bottle Alguromes Shower and Bath Gel is finally featuring in a Today’s Special Value and the intense nutrition lip balm will ensure kissable lips over the harsh winter months. Then, the choice is yours in relation to the next two products – Iris for smoothing and Magnolia for firming.
Aromessence Oil Serums are at the very heart of Decleor’s brand and philosophy providing the easiest “booster” to any subsequent products you use. Decleor have created an Aromessence Magnolia and this teamed with Orexcellence Youth Energy Eye Care Concentrate will deliver a more youthful plumper, fresher , firmed and luminous skin…YES YES and YES again. That’s what I’m after and having the opportunity to experience ahead of the launch it is exactly what I’m getting.
Iris is one many of you will know, as it was voted Best Anti Ageing Product in the QVC Beauty Awards. It boosts cell renewal, re-defines facial contours and works harmoniously with the skin to reduce lines and wrinkles. Iris is teemed up with Prolagene Lift eye cream .
To be honest I really cannot believe the value we have for the day and with the option of four Easy Pay installmnts! Yippee! It is worth £192.50, but we’ve massively improved on this price. I’m looking forward to prepping more deeply with Fiona Brackenbury about it and then having the chance to share it with you on Saturday at 2pm.
Lots of love, Claire x
