I’ve been working all summer but finally it’s time for a break – hurrah! I’m away for a couple of weeks now, holidaying in Japan and then catching up on some book stuff ahead of the launch of my first novel in October. But I just wanted to share with you the most fabulous little gadget I’ve discovered which I’ll be bringing with me on my travels.
It’s an Apple certified Leef iBridge mobile memory device – that sounds like a bit of a mouthful, but basically it’s a storage solution for iPhones, iPods and iPads which have little-to-no built-in memory. The best thing about it for me though is that you can also transfer documents and so on between Apple and Windows devices. It was never very easy before, because the Apple devices don’t have USB ports, but this has a USB on one end and a Lightning connection at the other – see the photos!
It means if I’m writing, or taking photos, on my iPad, it’s now really simple to transfer them to my laptop. When you first plug it in to your Apple device it will prompt you to download an app (it’s free) and then it’s extremely simple to use. I love it. It also comes in a range of sizes from 16GB to a whopping 128GB.
Right, that’s it, over and out. See you at the end of September!
