Hope you are well, how was your June? I really can’t believe we are almost in July, where does the time go?
It’s been a busy week for me! If you follow me on Twitter (craigrowe_tv) you will have seen I have been going back and forth a lot recently. This has been to film a new children’s TV show, which is going out over the summer holidays. I can’t say too much about it yet, but expect activities, games, dancing and loads of fun that the youngsters in your family will love. So if you have children, grandchildren, nephews or nieces around the 5 – 7 year age mark, I hope you will join me for some of it. There is also a radio programme to accompany the show – it’s all very exciting!!
Now back to my #Top3Beauty this week. I am being a bit naughty this time round as two of them are combinations!
1. Josie Maran Argan Oil and Argan Oil Milk – I have spoken about Josie’s Argan Oil before and I just love it – it seems to just feed my skin exactly what it wants. I have also been lucky enough to try the new Argan Oil Milk, which is coming to QVC in August. Let’s just say if you want dewy, hydrated skin, these two goodies combined are incredible!
2. Perricone Intensive Pore Minimiser – in the summer my skin can get quite blocked with oil, sweat and sunscreens, but this toner gives my skin a refined look and deeps cleans any residue left after cleansing, giving me a fresh, even complexion. I just love it!
3. Philosophy Pure Grace Fragrance and Body Lotion – oh wow! I adore this fragrance and to be able to layer it is great. I know it’s mainly a fragrance for women but it’s definitely clean and classic enough for men to freshen up with too. Perfect for summer, it’s similar to Yankee Candle’s Clean Cotton scent, just infused into a body fragrance.
Finally I would like to dedicate my blog this week to Victorine Mitchell (otherwise known as Pat or “Nanny Pat”). Victorine was my brother in law’s mother and she passed away about a month ago after various bouts of ill health. She was a loving, proud and inspirational woman who leaves behind five children, 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. I attended her funeral on Monday and it was a truly magical day and a tribute to her life. The sun came out at the cemetery and shined down as we sang hymns. She will be missed and always remembered – a lesson as ever to live life to the full and to love those around you.
Much love and big hugs,
