Hiding brownies and finding them again!

Brrrrrr, even I’m feeling the cold at the moment! The wind chill is really, really bracing.

However, once I get moving when out walking with my Cairns – I soon warm up. I particularly love playing tennis at this time of the year. Sunday morning was perfect with clear, bright, blue skies. The winter sun made serving a bit of a challenge and when receiving a high lob it was near impossible to see the ball! I’m known for chasing EVERY ball – even the impossible ones – I fell a few times, nothing hurt except a big slice of my pride! Oh and a tear in my new tracksuit :- (

I’ve had some wonderful shows of late at QVC. I’ve been on air with Kim & Co for Kim’s 19th anniversary celebrations, Emu footwear and Alison Cork with her fabulous interior design ideas too.

This is the calmness of our studio moments before the Kim & Co show! So many lights up above!

A highlight of the week has to be being on air with Kate and her truly, truly amazing Gower Cottage Brownies! I LOVE them! Well… I did have some hidden at home, but my secret hiding place was found, and then they were duly hidden from ME!

The search was on… I eventually found them near our piano by some books… Thankfully two of the brownies remained… Now eaten and the box left there for the culprit to be disappointed when they return to the now EMPTY box!! He he! They are deliciously scrumptious and I particularly enjoy a Gower Cottage Brownie with a green tea!

With Halloween and Guy Fawkes well and truly behind us – Christmas is feeling really, really close now… How is your Christmas shopping going? Are you done yet?

Before writing my blog I was browsing through some of my many photos on my iPad… I couldn’t resist sharing this one with you again… It’s one of my favourites of my mischievous Cairns from earlier this year when the weather was considerably warmer…!

Stay cosy and I’ll see you on air soon.

    Hi Charlie.
OH WOW if your feeling the cold…..there’s no hope for me then. I really don’t like the cold or the damp, so the emu’S have been out in force [ unfortunately not from QVC as you don’t do my size 1or 2]. Bella had had her little jumper on since her fir cut. OH what a lovely photo [ I wonder what she’s thinking……what can I get up to with out being found out !!!].
Not too sure were this year has gone ??? 6 weeks to go AH. 90 % of the shopping has been done though. I must get going on the Gower cottage and get some more [ I love the glutton free, it seems to be a little lighter ].
    Take care.
Debby and Bella say’s a big Whoof.

Hi Charlie, clicked on your face as you requested in the Bob Mackie show, and even read your blog ( which is supplementary to requirements), and now feel very at ease with life. Hope to see you together with Carla soon. Very enjoyable show. I was pondering who was the Alpha in this combination, and came to the conclusion, it was Carla. Also enjoyed your blog. Best wishes to you. Love from Lesley Xxx
