A busy week ahead

EMU Otway bootHello!

Hope you've had a great week so far! Mine has been brilliant, if a little hectic at times!

I had such a wonderful show with Alison Keenan on Tuesday in our Diamonique Christmas Spectacular. It was fabulous to see her back after all these months and didn't she look amazing?!

Thank you for all of your kind texts during the show, a colleague here printed them off for Ali afterwards… there were hundreds and hundreds, thank you so much!

I can't wait for Charlie Bears this weekend, I'm looking after the evening shows. And then I have a few extra special shows coming up next week (w/c 14th November).

I'm on air Monday evening at midnight with the EMU Todays Special Value launch. The Otway boot is a fabulous looking design, (pictured above) I love the duffel coat inspiration, a great look and in great demand. There are a few ways you can style the boot, to create very different looks, depending on what you team them up with. So, really versatile.

They're practical as well, because the boots are made with water-resistant Australian double faced sheepskin! There are four colour choices and I've just had an email from our buyer to tell me that two of the colours have been produced especially for QVC! My daughter is a huge EMU fan, I treated her to a pair a few weeks ago and they really are her pride and joy – the quality is superb.

It's a very special brand which was created by surfers in 1948. They wanted to keep their feet warm and toastie after surfing during the winter months! Now they are loved all around the world… especially here at QVC!

Take care and see you soon… I'm on air shortly and I am really hungry so am whizzing off to the canteen to see what's on offer  🙂

bye x

Ps. I'm also back on air with the wonderful Liz Earle beauty range Tuesday evening 15th Nov x. Must dash for that food now… tummy rumbling!

Well Charlie you’ve given me two great lots of giggling fits today!! The first when I tuned in to your 4-6 show, you simply couldn’t stop eating the recipe samples and the peanuts were obviously a huge temptation for you!!! Secondly when you were hosting the lovely Charlie Bear show at 7. Poor old Will was trying to hold a serious conversation,he thought with you, only to see you ‘teaching’ the bear you were holding interview techniques!! Made me giggle for ages! Thank you!

Hi Charlie. Saw you with Will and Charlie tonight asking about parkin.. Here is a recipe I have used for longer than I care to think about if you would like to try it out:
4oz sugar, 4oz Self raising flour, 4 oz fine oatmeal, 1 beaten egg, 2 oz margarine, 1 tablespoon of treacle, 1 teaspoon of ginger, pinch of salt and 1 talespoon of milk
    Mix dry ingredients together
Rub in margarine, add sugar, beaten egg and milk and work into a paste
Press into a greased swiss roll tin and bake at Gas 4-5 for approx 15 minutes until golden brown
By the way I do own Parkin bear who I adore along with my other 75 Charlie bears and other characters.. not quite as many as Charlie..
Take care and hope you like the recipe
    Best wishes Veronica xx

    HI Charlie
I have just posted a comment to Ali on how fantastic she looked in the Diamonique show which she did with you, but I also wanted to say what a great job you did, so supportive, obviously delighted to see her back, and the friendship between the presenters and general support for Ali was clear to see. Keep up the good work.
    Love from Morag xx
