A fabulous clothes airer from Lakeland and cheeky Misty

How is your January going so far? It does seem to be moving along pretty quickly doesn’t it!

Our weather here is wet and soggy as I write this week’s blog but surprisingly mild. It’s pouring with rain and our garden is looking rather sad. Especially the lawn. I think I need some advice off Richard Jackson. I’m not sure where the really cold weather has gone but my Dad assures me it’s coming back soon. Cozee Home on standby!

I’ve been enjoying some great TV of late. How good is Sherlock! I don’t think I’ve seen it before apart from the odd 5 minutes here and there and perhaps the very first episode (I know I’m several years behind nearly everyone else!). It’s brilliant and the casting couldn’t be more perfect. I’m rather pleased because the first three seasons I’ve just found on Netflix.

I’ve also enjoyed Casualty. I’ve been a huge fan for years and if there’s an ambition I have waiting in the wings it would be to appear in the show as an extra! The storylines of late have been gripping.

Despite the weather I have been on some lovely walks with my Cairn Terriers. They’ve come home soaked on occasions looking more like soaked rats than Cairn Terriers! We have a house rule which is they’re not allowed upstairs (cream carpets) Well, rules from time to time do get broken 😉 and I couldn’t resist taking this snap of Misty on the landing. But if Bramble manages to get upstairs she will head into the bathroom and find a sock from the wash basket which is likely to never be seen again!

The subject of socks leads me nicely onto a truly brilliant Today’s Special Value coming up this Sunday 15th January. If your home is a little like ours this maybe perfect for you too because right now it feels like our washing machine is on the whole time!

Well, this TSV is just ideal. It’s the Lakeland ‘Dry Soon’ heated airer with mesh shelf duo, cover and delicates bag.

Would it sound over the top to say we love this airer?! Well, we really do! Firstly we are using our tumble dryer far less and secondly the airer typically costs LESS than 6p an hour to run!

We’ve worked closely with Lakeland to put together a fantastic package for you. Lakeland of course is a trusted name of over 50 years and we’re thrilled they’ve come to QVC.

The airier is well made and is able to hold up to 15kg of wet washing with 21 metres of drying space. It also folds away for easy storage too.

The offer also includes two mesh shelves for smaller items and delicates.

Now I should point out that I removed the items from the mesh shelf when taking the photos! I’d be in trouble for showing our delicates! So, this photo is from the packaging to give you an idea.

It also comes with the airer cover to help contain the heat to speed up drying time. Cleverly it has a mesh vent to allow air flow. It then becomes a storage bag for your 3 tier airer.

So it’s raining outside which means the washing line is redundant. The 3 tier airer to the rescue!

Catch it on air this Sunday!

In the meantime… I’ve heard the patter of paws upstairs… again. I’d better go and rescue the socks!

Take care

    Morning Charlie.
What a beautiful picture of Misty…..butter wouldn’t melt comes to mind [ reminds me of Bella ] when she’s done something she shouldn’t have.
HUM think I’ll have to have a look at the TSV on Sunday. We don’t have a tumble dryer and the towels take ages to dry [ including the stale smell of dampness ].
Our lawn isn’t too bad at the moment. Not looking forward to this cols snap at the weekend…..I did get cozee home for christmas and YES they WILL be on the bed and ready for the sofa too.
Glad you’ve managed to catch up on tv…mum and I have been into Father brown and Murdock on alibi [ good old murder mystery.] Then of course mid summer murders too.
Take care. See you back soon.
Debby and Bella say’s a big whoof
