Fab, fresh fashion for Spring/Summer ’16!

It isn’t just London following quickly on the heels of New York Fashion Week, with the first day of our very own Spring/Summer Fashion Week this Friday. For the first time ever here at QVC, we are devoting a full five days (concurrent with London Fashion Week) to launching the new season of fashion, showcasing all that is best and exciting about our current favourite brands and also introducing some gorgeous new labels to tempt you.

We start on Friday 20th at 8pm with the first of no less than FOUR runways shows, putting complete looks and outfits together for you from across a variety of featured designers. We’re finishing up with a fantastic fashion fiesta over 48 hours with a double Fashion Week Finale on Monday and Tuesday, with the final catwalk show at 8pm on the Tuesday.

Throughout the five days we will feature new designs from a multitude of brands such as Join, Kim & Co, H by Halston, LOGO by Lori Goldstein, Together, Onjenu, Clarks and MarlaWynne (yippee!). Our buyers put together a selection of their favourites to treat some of us to a sneak preview, and you can see some of them here – my picks include the jackets from Helene Berman and Andrew Yu, the metallic knit with zips from Ronen Chen and the entire selection of Clarks flats and sandals – I tried to artistically model the silver sneakers for you in the mirror!

There is so much more to show you, though, so I hope you can join us for at some of the inspiration shows that we’ll bring you over the five days of fashion that I am so looking forward to.

And a brief mention also about my Morning Style show… a new series will be starting very soon to help you find you own QVC fashion look. Wednesday, 2nd March is a date to put in your diary – we’ll be kicking off at 10am, so I hope you can join me!

Until then, take care

Hi Pearl. I know a couple of students at Leeds Uni – they’re having a brilliant time, I hope your daughter is too. Bet you’re proud of her!
Morning Style will be repeated on QVC Style Channel, I think at 7pm, and sometimes we post the whole show on our website on http://www.qvcuk.com/morningstyle so have a look if you’d like to catch up later. Have a lovely day on Wednesday.

High-vamped Summer footwear is very fashionable, but low-vamped pointy toe ballet flats and pumps don’t look dated either. In fact, to my eye, pointy toe low-vamped ballet flats look quite fresh which is why I added a pair to my wardrobe last week.
