Well, at the risk of tempting fate, we've encountered four or five days of pure summer sunshine here in London. How has the weather been where you are?
Well done if you identified last week's picture. It was a delicious strawberry… eaten moments after the picture was taken – of course! Guess the picture returns in my next blog!
Thanks to everyone who sent in their pet pictures. I've loved meeting them all and it's been a lot of fun. In this montage of wonderful photographs I couldn't resist popping in a recent picture of my two Cairns…
Learning about your pets and their antics has been so lovely. Do share your stories on the comments section below or tweet me @mecharliebrook. Hope to hear from you soon
Between walking the dogs, being busy at home and work I've managed to play plenty of tennis recently. In the extreme heat I play relatively early to avoid the soaring temperatures. It's a fabulous sport to watch but even more enjoyable to play.
I took it up when I was fourteen. I was never one for football and was a terrible player
Yep, I was the kid who was picked last in PE! I didn't care at the time as I loathed it. Then I surprised the whole class by beating everyone's time on the assault course circuit that was set up during gym class at the end of term. That was a good day… but I still hated PE!
I love tennis and it's a sport that will stay with me for life. Nothing quite beats the feeling when you serve an ace, play a sweet volley or land a lob right on the base line.
I'm thrilled to have been drawn for Wimbledon tickets this year. It is the most beautiful day out with fabulous tennis and plenty of great food on offer, including strawberries!
Wimbledon is a few weeks away yet and between now and then, do watch out for some more fabulous shows at QVC including the Diamond Spectacular with me and Dale. I know, hard to believe, we've been let loose together again!
The show is on Sunday 1st June at 3pm with all the beautiful designs on are three Easy Payments.
I love my gems and thought I'd share a little snap shot of some of the pieces that make up my personal collection. Amethyst, Morganite, Peridot, Turquoise and Rose Quartz among others…isn't planet Earth truly spellbinding with all the beauty it has to offer?
Take care and see you soon!
