Q. What would you recommend for dry flaky itchy eyelids which I think is from the season change as I'm not sure whats safe to use on the eyelids a) to get rid of the flaky bits and b) to moisturise as have sensitive skin.
A. You need to use as simple a product as possible, so not necessarily a beauty product but a single oil from your chemist or health food shop, such as Jojba or Almond oil, massage this onto the lids and around the eye area and then wipe away with a warm cloth or cotton wool. Don't apply beauty products to this area as yet, if the sensitivity doesn't calm down within a few days speak to your pharmacist or doctor. Ali x
Q. Hi Ali, I have sensitive skin with lots of under the skin lumps, bumps and get horrible breakouts round my chin. My skin isn't dry or oily, but can be red and these breakouts can take weeks to clear up. I have used various skin are over the years and linearly has always kept my skin under control, but not lately. I use mally make up and wonder if this could b aggravating my skin
A. This situation isn't necessarily aggravated by makeup, it's normally more influenced by hormones and possibly eating habits. If your skin dramatically improves when you don't wear makeup for a few days then this is possible.
I would definitely recommend the Alpha-H range if you haven't already tried it as this works very well on this skin condition, however it will take several months to settle BUT you will see results within the 30 day money back guarantee period.
If you don't OR you've tried this range before I would make an appointment with your doctor as they will have options that you can discuss, as your skin may need medical help before a beauty routine will work. Hope this helps, Ali x
A. You need to exfoliate your body once or twice a week but the arms three times a week and apply the SBC Propolis Gel to safeguard any infection in the skin followed by an extra rich body cream such as the L'Occitane 25% body butter. Ali x
