Yay, the snow’s gone – at the time of writing anyway! Never thought I’d be so glad to see the green, green grass of Dorking again. Mud's better for marching in any day, compared to loose snow, which feels like a walk along a shingle beach! Still, think of the thighs, love, think of the thighs!
Living in the Surrey Hills, I'm a short walk away from lovely open fields and country walks – one of the things I’ve always wanted in life! The views are magnificent, and you don't get dirty paws all over your car every time you want to walk them! Fields on three sides and a gastro pub across the road – lovely! I took a little bit of video so you could 'accompany' me on one of my walks!
The dogs, or 'pogs' as my mum affectionately nicknamed them, love the snow, sort of. Once they've played in it for long enough they do appreciate being allowed further into the house, even though one of them takes liberties!
Now the kids are at uni and work, and I'm an empty nester, I've got wonderful neighbours (and family) who help out with the dogs when I'm called away for overnight stays in London hotels, especially recently when my poor colleagues were snowed in and couldn't make it in for their shifts!
I've had four overnight stays during the bad weather – heavy going but I was pleased to be able to help out. It was made easier by a fabulous back rub in between shows from magic-fingers Michaela from Gatineau. And a WONDERFUL Liz Earle facial from the lovely Jo at the Sloane Square studio – OMG so highly recommended, I can’t tell you! Still at least you can do a home version with some of Liz’s products. Make sure you don’t miss her shows on Saturday 6th Feb.
Sally Morgan in Dorking
I love psychic programmes and so does my daughter Lauren, so she was thrilled when we went to Sally’s show in Dorking last autumn. We got a personal reading, which has been featured on her new series I’m told! So yes, it was me and my glamorous sister on the promo for those that asked, and I look forward to seeing the episode with our bit in it. If you spot it let me know.
Have a lovely week and speak again soon.
