X Factor, Strictly and Photo Montage blankets…

1

Just wanted to give you a quick heads-up on a fantastic product coming up on Monday 26th October. It's called the Photo Montage blanket and I have just had mine back from the company and it is wonderful, I love it !

I can't wait to show you it on Monday, it's such a personalised gift idea with all your favourite photographs captured forever on a beautifully soft blanket - an amazing gift for Christmas!

I'm not working this weekend so I will be glued to X Factor, as so many of you are too. I can't believe John and Edward are still in, but I kind of look forward to what they are going to do in a really weird way. I really liked Joe last week singing the Whitney Houston song.

Like Morag, Rose and Sylvia (who all left messages for me last week) I also love Strictly although I always tape it and then speed through the boring ones.

Morag did ask me which QVC presenters did I think would be the best and worst on Strictly and I think the best would definitely be the very dapper Julian Ballantyne. He could definitely swing those hips with the best of them. And the worst? Well, I couldn't possibly say, could I?

Well done to Sylvia for spotting me on Family Fortunes. Yes, that was me aged 17. I dragged my whole family on because I was so fascinated with the world of television. I can't believe I did a Max Bygraves impression to Max Bygraves, how embarrassing!

Sylvia also asked what was my secret for always looking so calm and relaxed. It's very easy, I get to sit down at work and have a little rest! You should see me at 8 o'clock in the morning. On second thoughts don't, because it's not a pretty sight.

Finally a little mention for TB who is a great QVC fan and wonders why I never blog about my hubby. It's mainly because he likes to stay out of the limelight and, although he's still gorgeous in his old age with a full head of hair and lovely white teeth, he hates having his picture taken. He does indeed deserve a mention because without his support I really couldn't do all the things I do.

Have a great weekend,

Jillyxx

    Hi Jilly
Just been reading about your rabbit, Dude. I hope you won’t think I’m being nosey but if he has frequently got a ‘sticky bum’ he probably needs adjustment to his diet.
Reducing the quantity of pellets and fresh veg (especially any starchy veg) & increasing the amount of fresh hay usually helps with this problem. He will probably always choose to eat the stuff that’s not so good for him over the hay so it might be better not to leave a lot of pellets/veg in his cage. Sticky bum can be dangerous in summer as flies lay their eggs in the mess & it can lead to maggots breeding on your rabbit – a condition called flystrike which kills many rabbits.
Sent with the best of intentions from a fellow bunny lover!
