This Works Keep Calm and Sleep collection

This Works was created in 2003 by former Beauty Director of Vogue UK and International journalist, Kathy Phillips, as an antidote to modern life, and its impact on skin and wellbeing.

As both yoga teacher and beauty expert, Kathy understood the link between lifestyle and skin health, creating intelligent, targeted solutions that optimise skin performance 24 hours a day, based on the body clock.

The result was and is a collection of high quality, efficacious products that deliver on their promise without using unnecessary chemicals, that work with your natural Circadian Rhythm to support and maximise skin performance, 24 hours a day. This Works was among the pioneer brands to replace sulphates, phalates, GMOs and parabens with cleaner alternatives.

We, in the Biagi’s household, have always been fans of the deep sleep pillow spray, as with me on shiftwork, kids with exam stress and my wife running a busy shop, sleep is vital to our family well-being. The deep sleep pillow spray has always helped us drift off especially under times of stress. But I had never tried a deep sleep shower gel! It seems a natural ‘bedfellow’ for the deep sleep pillow spray as if you have a shower before you go to bed the last thing you want is to be invigorated.

Designed to relieve tension, soothe the mind, alleviate stress and soften the skin, the award-winning deep sleep super blend includes true lavender, Vetivert, wild chamomile, and coconut oil . It’s a great way to gently and instantly relax the body and the mind and leave your skin feeling moisturised and lightly fragranced.  The perfect shower time treat to help you prepare for a peaceful nights sleep.

Although I am more familiar with their sleep products I know that This Works are perhaps even more famous for their fabulous skincare, so it was a delight to be able to try the stress check face oil. Created to moisturise, help harmonise out of sync skin, and to even out the look of skin tones,  this oil is a super blend of botanical oils and includes omega-3, Moringa and Crambe oil . It also has some powerful antioxidants and vitamins like vitamins C and E. I found this was very easy to use had a wonderful fragrance and certainly made the skin feel much more rejuvenated in the morning. I suspect the team will have a whole load of clinical test results to share with us on Wednesday.

Knowing how This Works use essential oils in many of their products to create the great affects that they, do I was intrigued to try the stress check breathe in oil. This is a calming and relaxing concentrated 100% natural super blend of pure essential oils to help reduce the negative effects of stress overload. It helps to cleanse, invigorate and help to counter physical and mental fatigue, containing refreshing eucalyptus, frankincense essential oil and lavender oil. You simply spray a bit on your pulse points and allow the aromatherapy to do its work. It just turns that chaotic hectic pressure into something a little more manageable.

The lovely Nicole Drewit will be launching with Craig at midnight on Tuesday night and should be with myself and Kathy for the morning show at 9am on Wednesday morning, so join us for a very special offer at QVC.

    Hi
Love this range. So great to get into bed soothed by the shower gel having sprayed a little bit of the pillow spray over the pillows and bedding. Part of the ritual of my sleep hygiene, an absolute must. Wouldn’t be without it!!
