Wishing you all a very merry christmas!

Hi there, thanks so much for stopping by my blog.

Tilda as an angelIt’s just a quick one this week as I know you’re all busy. I’m up to my eyes in wrapping, kids Christmas parties and last minute shopping and supermarket dashes! Why do I always leave things to the last minute?

Before Tilda broke up from school we had her first ever Nativity performance which was so lovely. The kids were all so funny with their lines. There was nose picking, waving at mums and dads, forgotten lines, over the top actions and some amusing choices of songs including Dolly Parton 9-5. Don’t quite remember Dolly being there at the stable but hey it was entertaining!

We weren’t allowed to take photos during the performance so you’ll have to forgive the slightly grainy picture which I have screen grabbed from the DVD. Tilda was an angel and a lovely angel at that and I have to admit I was a little misty eyed!

We went to visit Santa this week which is always hit or miss as to whether the kids will enjoy it or not. Turned out it was half and half this time. Poor Ivy was petrified of Santa and wouldn’t go near him!!! She sat on my lap for one picture but that was about all she was happy with.

With Santa

As you can see from the picture she wasn’t really feeling it! Tilda however had fun and they both got a lovely present from him. They got to see reindeer, turkeys and piglets too which they enjoyed.

I have two more shows before Christmas on Friday evening at 10pm and 11pm of Kelly Hoppen and Northern Nights which will be fun and then I’m looking forward to all the fantastic Clearance shows we will be bringing you.

I’m also getting to try out the Today’s Special Value from Ecoegg which is a set of two hard surface cleaners with sponges and microfibre cloths.

No doubt after Christmas we will all be getting into the New Year, New you and new home vibe! I will be doing some major clearing out and getting my house in order so this will be great. I have already tried it on my hob and it did a great job. I particularly like to use as few chemicals in my kitchen around food as possible so this is great. You can get yours on the 31st December.

So all I really want to do now is wish you all a wonderful Christmas and New Year and hope you enjoy time with loved ones, eat loads, binge, watch Xmas films and enjoy the sales on QVC. I know it can be a tough time of year for some so extra hugs to those that need it!

See you all soon,

Love

Hi Katy, amongst all the mayhem of Christmas preparations it seems like you’ve been having a fun family time which is just how it should be. How gorgeous is Tilda as an angel. I too was an angel in my school Nativity many moons ago and I absolutely loved it and look back fondly on the experience.
Like you I will be having a sort out in the New Year.
Wishing you and your family a very Happy Christmas.

We have had a lovely fun Christmas. Having my two crazy girls makes it all the more exciting. This may make you chuckle but I was at an all girls school so I ended up being King Herod in one of our nativities!! Haha. Oh well I still enjoyed it!! Hope you had a fab Christmas. Have a great 2017 x
