We’re absolutely thrilled to be bringing a new line of fashion jewellery to QVC this week, with creations from a design house whose works have featured in the TV series Sex and the City and cult film The Devil Wears Prada, which were both styled by Oscar-nominated costume designer Patricia Field, as well as adorning red carpet starlets of all ages.
We’re launching the new range, Roberto by RFM, on Tuesday 9th June with hour-long shows at 2pm and 7pm, and we’ll be joined by one of the men behind the brand – Roberto Faraone Mennella – to hear all about these fashionable designs.

Roberto grew up in the foothills of Mount Vesuvius in Italy, east of the small city of Torre del Greco – an area famed for its production of coral jewellery and cameo brooches. There, the Fararone Mennella family estate sits nestled amongst acres of beautiful greenery and floral farmland. It was here that Roberto found his inspiration and, taking advice from his grandmother, Stella, he decided to pursue a degree in design.
After attending the Università Federico II in Naples to study law, Roberto moved to New York City to continue pursuing his true passion, graduating from the famous Parsons School of Design in Lower Manhattan. Later, he and his childhood best friend, Amadeo Scognamiglio – an accomplished cameo carver – launched a widely successful brand, landing the pair in Time magazine’s list of 100 most influential designers in their field.
Today, Roberto is taking the same passion he has for creating couture jewellery and unleashing it to the world through the Roberto by RFM collection – using the same design aesthetics and even the very same moulds, bringing you the same glamour, design identity and Italian artistry – but at a fashionably affordable price.
Key pieces to look out for are the long Corno Napoletano necklace that’s perfect for layering with shorter pieces for on-trend styling, and the L’Infinito bracelet (pictured below) that has a simple magnetic fastening and interchangeable faux leather straps that attach to the figure-of-eight central feature; each of the three colour options comes with two sets of complementary straps, so whenever you feel like mixing it up just untie the existing ones and swap them over. They’re inspired by the brand’s signature hand-twisted gold links – described by Time magazine as ‘a must-have for the socialite set’ – and will form an integral part of any seductive stack you create on your wrist.
To enter, simply answer the following simple question in the comments below:
In which Italian city did Roberto go to university?
You’ve got until 23:59 on Sunday 14th June to enter, and we’ll announce the winner next week. Good luck! You can read the terms and conditions here.
