TomTom competitionTo celebrate bringing their TomTom GO 400 sat nav to QVC as our Today’s Special Value offer next Saturday (22nd March), TomTom are offering five lucky winners a prize of £100 QVC Credit!

This brilliant device features TomTom Traffic, a service that provides you with precise and accurate real-time information, pinpointing exactly where your delays start and end and helping you get to your destination faster, safer and with lower emissions of greenhouse gases.

Independent tests have shown that, on average, drivers using TomTom Traffic can save up to 18.5% of their journey time, which is handy when you hear statistics like these…

  • In London, drivers with a 35 minute daily commute are, on average, stuck in traffic for 84 hours per year. That equals 10.5 working days!
  • In Birmingham, drivers with a 25 minute daily commute are, on average, stuck in traffic for 67 hours per year. That equals 8.4 working days!
  • In Manchester, drivers with a 33 minute daily commute are, on average, stuck in traffic for 81 hours per year. That equals 10 working days!

With that in mind, all you have to do to be in with a chance of winning £100 QVC Credit is comment below with your answer to the following question…

Driving with TomTom Traffic gets you there faster, so what will you do with the time you’ll save by not being stuck in traffic?

Keep it clean and remember to include your email address in the designated field (this won’t be made public) and we might just share your stories on air on Saturday! Make sure to get your answers in before 11.59pm on Wednesday 19th March and keep your eyes peeled to find out who won next week.

So from one treasure to another, your “Tom Tom” to another “your Geocache find and its idyllic setting” BLISS!!!!

I would use my tom tom go live to take me to varied and beautiful parts of the uk near my home. On arrival at my destination, I would take out my newly acquired folding electric bike and set off for a pleasant cycle ride, with the dual purpose of enjoying myself while getting fitter and slimmer at the same time. The time that the tom tom saves me while driving there, would give me the extra time to enjoy myself cycling.

This would give mum time to rest and relax as she is due to give birth next month, the middle of April. So yes I will have a 2nd grand child and Leo will have a sister or brother. Very exciting times.

Perhaps I could phone my best friend and go shopping, OR, take a trip to the new hair salon that’s just opened, OR, pop down to the local multiplex and take in that Oscar winning movie, OR, take the kids to their favourite soft play arena, OR, I could just sit and have a lovely relaxing cuppa with a chocolate biccy and procrastinate – mmmmm.

I would save time on those long journeys to see my family, so the time I save on those would give me more time to spend with them rather than sitting in traffic in yet another motorway jam. On the shorter journeys I would use my time to take a longer walk with my dogs or feet up and cuppa tea sounds good too

Sitting in traffic is not fun,
Especially during the morning school run,
    Drivers are irate,
and I’ve got enough on my plate worrying the kids will be late,
    TomTom Traffic would be divine,
I’ll be able to get the kids to school on time,
Then get home in quick time to watch the QVC Morning Show which starts at nine.

Instead of being being Stressed out by travel delays making me Achey , Tired, Grumpy & therefore no doubt increasing lines & wrinkles too, I could have a Stress Free journey allowing me to get home In Time to Relax & Enjoy my favourite QVC programmes such as Relax your Back, Look Good FEEL Good & all Beauty Shows & be able to make purchases to help improve myself with money saved from not burning off petrol being stuck in traffic jams- rather than think what’s the point I’m going to arrive anywhere too late anyway why bother going places!
