Will: A familiar sight in New York…

0

Will GowingSo I finally made it back from New York, my flight was delayed for 24 hours because of the snow, but let's be honest there are worst places to be stranded.

When the cold weather hit the UK, I logged onto the QVC Facebook page and saw lots of your Wintertrax comments, it was great to see many of you putting them to good use!

I had a fantastic week away, but it's great to be back… there's only so much fun you can have in a big city like New York before your credit card groans and tells you to go home.

On my first morning there I stocked up on coffee and went for a long walk. One of the first shops I stumbled across was L'Occitane (above left), and spookily we have two shows from L'Occitane tomorrow at 11am and 5pm!

I've been to New York a couple of times before and I love this diner (above centre). It's called The Highliner and they serve up amazing burgers (as well as a good Bloody Mary). I must let you know that you can also find fantastic burgers from King's Realm, they'll be on QVC tomorrow at 10am.

It was a fun busy week, I also managed to squeeze in a short trip to Washington DC. There's a lot to see there, including the White House (above left), the Washington Memorial (centre) and the Licoln Memorial (right). I even spotted Obama's motorcade whizzing down the road!

Before I go we'll be featuring a brand new show on QVC tomorrow, it's Elle Sport Style and you can watch two hours of this sports-inspired leisure wear at 2pm and 8pm.

Don't forget to stay in touch with us by heading on over to our Facebook & Twitter pages, we love to read your comments. I'll see you on the Morning Show from 9am tomorrow! Will x
