What’s your all-time favourite song?

Hi guys,

I hope you've had a great week so far…Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is in the cinema today – can't wait to see it!

Here's a tricky question… what's your all time favourite track?  We were discussing this a couple of nights ago and it's proven to be a really tough one to answer! We then asked ourselves, if you're heading to a far away island and you're allowed to listen to one more music track before you leave, what would it be? Again, it's a really tough question.

I love music and before moving into TV I was given an amazing opportunity to mix and produce the 'In the Mix' album series. It was a fantastic feeling to head into a music store and see the albums on the shelves.

My taste in music is pretty wide and varied – I like Queen, Madonna, David Bowie, Pet Shop Boys, Blur, and various Dance Acts among many others…

But right now, I'm heading off to that desolate island and with one more track to listen to before departure it would have to be Leona Lewis and her version of Run… simply spellbinding!

Take care and have a good week

Hello Charlie. this is nothing to do with favourite song, as I have so many! It’s really a last resort for some help please. I bought a Clickfree device and I saw the other week, that you bought one too.I phoned on the day but couldn’t get through to you. I left a message and was told it would be read out, I watched every programme but it wasn’t mentioned at all.I phoned months ago too and I was told that it would be put to the presenter and the guest. But it never did. I also spoke to at least 3 people up in Liverpool. So did my husband. Also directly to Clickfree but am really not getting anywhere so I thought how can I get through to someone that will help me? We bought it quite a few months ago now. The problem is to do with our emails that are saved on the device we can’t retrieve them for love or money. We have noticed that other QVC customers have the same problem and also one of your Liverpool gentlemen said that others had phoned with the same problem. We’ve also tried on the internet and have read loads of other people that have the same problem, but I can’t find anyone who’s really got the answer to how to get them back?? Can you help? We were told we couldn’t speak to the person in between shows. So bascially its retrieving the emails that are on outlook express and incredimail. There seems to be a problem with that part of it, but we can’t find any solution at all. And we’re just going round in circles. I’m looking out all the time to see when it’s being aired again and I will keep trying to get an answer somehow! Apparently the emails are there but we can’t get them I understand that much, I think that there is something else that we need to buy but I can’t get any answers to what or how? I know that the right thing to do is get back in touch with Clickfree but we’ve tried 3 times and nobody seems to be interested in our plight! I do understand if you can’t help either but I thought it might be worth trying as you said you were going to be getting one too.
Anyway I always watch your shows and I think QVC is fantastic. Keep up the good work and hope to hear from you soon !
    Take care

    Hi Charlie,
my favourite track is No Woman, No Cry by Bob Marley. This always reminds me of my sister as her name is in the song “And then Georgie would make a firelight….”. Add to that the organ music at the start, all in all the perfect song.
Also the date of Bob Marley’s death is relevant to us and will forever join the two of us together.
    Big kisses to her.

My favourite record of all time is Cara Mia by David Whitfield, my fav ourite singer of all time, but then, I love all his records.
You may not have heard of him Charlie, but he was the no1 singer of the fifties, the first male singer to earn a gold disc. If I was on a desert island I would just want all his songs with me.

Hi Charlie, I’m the lady called Hannah that you met in Debenhams, Christmas time 2007! You were so stressed by the crowds that you went home without buying anything!! You very kindly said hello to me live on air at midnight that night when presenting the TSV.
My most favourite song is ‘Creep’ by Radio Head. It gives me goose bumps!!
    Take care x
