What’s not to love?

What can I say, come rain, shine or freezing arctic blizzards, life goes on and much fun is to be had! We were completely snowed in at the end of last week so thoroughly enjoyed our snow days, particularly when that biting wind died down!

I haven’t yet caught you up on Brian and my Valentine’s treat from the week before have I? We went to the Birmingham Symphony Hall to see Seal perform and MY, what a treat it was!!!! You know sometimes, you can go to a live show and the artist isn’t quite as you hoped, or quite as they sound on the album? …well, not the case with Seal! His voice is EVEN MORE heart melting in the live arena, it was just the BEST evening …despite the scary fans who did their best to mall him as he made his way through the auditorium!

We had great seats and really lucked out with the hotel we had booked which proved to be not only right next door, but also had its own enclosed walk way to the Symphony Hall which meant we didn’t have to wrap up and brace the bitter cold… and my hair didn’t get blown into some state of wildness which was an added bonus!

The next morning however, despite the arctic breeze, we took a stroll around Birmingham before heading home and I have to say we found some really beautiful areas; it’s a city with much to offer. Currently there is a huge regeneration project going on which means loads of building works however, the architecture both old and modern is stunning and the canals are bursting with character, we loved it there!

As I am typing this, the postman has just arrived at the door with my fresh, hot off the press sample of the Bibi Bijoux Today’s Special Value for this week. I’ve been a massive Bibi fan since before it even came to QVC and have loved watching Maxine grow the brand and bring to us so many wonderful pieces to add to our collection. I’ve only seen a rough pic so far and think we are going to love it …

Hang on …

As I suspected, it’s fabulous!! AND it’s four separate necklaces too! White AND rose gold-tones… top marks, I think you will be chuffed to bits with this one! Click here from midnight tonight (6th March) and get yours before you miss out, because it’s going to go fast!

I have to say, I am yet to master the art of the selfie, however thanks to my Canon EOS remote control app on my phone, I could take this pic even with Tynor popping in to say hi! I’ve only had this camera about a year and have finally figured out this whizzy function but I do somewhat feel a bit of a fool taking photos of myself, even though I am home alone, despite trying very hard on Instagram @pipagordon… call me old fashioned!

Anyway, I think you’re going to LOVE the Bibi TSV almost as much as I loved seeing Seal  I’ll see you on air soon, or somewhere in the world of Social Media.

Take care

Much love

Pipa x

    Hi there Pippa,

Just logged onto your blog I’m hooked now what a lovely busy and interesting life you lead!
Question for you: I turned to channel 35 and watched an old Liz Earle presentation with Caroline and you popped up and talked about how great the brightening mask is! Now my question is that gorgeous to die for psychedelic top you wore with bell sleeves? where did you get that?? My goodness that took me back to the late 60s when I made a top a little similar and it always always made me smile, I’m now into my 60s and working as hard as ever and need clothes to lift my spirits something sooo lovely as that would I am sure.

Great blog, fabulous presentation on QVC like to watch you as you are always so enthusiastic!

Hope this gets to you for a reply. All the best Amy Dew
