Welcome our new QVC presenter Miceal!

Miceal Murphy We're excited to welcome a brand new QVC presenter - Miceal Murphy! He popped in to tell us more…

"Hello everyone, Miceal here. I know, I know, my name has probably flumuxed a few of you already but being Irish, having a strange name goes with the territory I'm afraid! If you're trying to figure out how its pronounced, the best thing I can say is to try 'ME-HALL'.

Well now that we've got that out of the way, I have to say that, being a big fan of shopping and TV, I couldn't be happier knowing that I am going to be part of the QVC family.

I know it sounds like a bit of a cliche, but having met a lot of the team here at QVC, as well as some you at our Food Fair back in December, I have been made to feel so welcome and supported and it genuinely feels like I'm part of one big family.

Some of you may have seen me on QVC last year in my capacity as a chocolatier representing Duc d'O Chocolates but what you may not know is that I have been working as a TV presenter in Ireland for a number of years so it's going to feel great being back on air.

Right now I'm looking forward to my first show and everyone has been promising to look after me – see, it really is like family. It would be great to have your company and it would be lovely to hear from you all, so feel free to get in touch with any questions or comments.

In the meantime, here's to good times and great shopping!

Miceal. x

Welcome to my favourite shopping channel Miceal (ME-HALL), it is great to have Celtic presenters, and, I know you will refer to ALL your viewers as BRITISH, and not just English, as some presenters do. Looking forward to your first presentation.

Welcome to the wonderful world of QVC—-I don’t know what I would do without it. Not only are the products first class its such a breath of fresh air to listen and watch the presenters. Many is the time I would prefer to watch QVC than the stuff on the ordinary telly—no screaming or shouting or nastiness. I saw you this morning at 9 o’clock—what a welcome Pippa gave you too.

Congratulations Miceal!! So excited that you are now an official QVC presenter. Hopefully you remember me…you were so lovely to me as I had my QVC guest presenter screen test with you back in January with the No No Hair Removal. I finally did my first LIVE show in February and also did a TSV with my American co presenter, Jennifer Crawford. You really helped me breeze through that first screen test and I look forward to hopefully presenting with you in the near future. I’m due back on air on April 26 with the No No Skin (acne)! Great luck in your new career at QVC and I will be looking out for you soon.
    Cheers
