A weekend in North Yorkshire and some great upcoming Today’s Special Value offers!

9

Hello! Hope you are well and that you had a good bank holiday weekend, and had some sunshine where you were?

I was in North Yorkshire where we were blessed with lovely weather.

We visited Whitby, a place I have always wanted to see. It was wonderful to visit the abbey and harbour as well as munch on fish and chips from the famous Magpie and eat the local favourite ice cream Lemon Top – yum!

We also visited Harrogate (tea and cake at Betty’s of course!) and Ripon where we witnessed the 9pm ‘setting the watch ‘ by the Hornblower on the local square; a tradition since 886!

Of course there was time for fun too, this included playing on the zip wire, swing ball and being a (very bad) goalkeeper in our Sunday morning football match.

I also loved playing with Ted the cockapoo – how adorable is he?

Then it was back to the busy Beauty Haul show on bank holiday Monday – it’s always great fun working with my colleague and friend Chloe.

The rest of the week is going to get even busier; on Thursday night I will be co-hosting the annual Beauty Excellence Awards with Alison Young, thank you so much for your votes – be sure to tune in to find out who wins!

From Thursday into Friday I’m launching the beginning of our nod to Christmas (don’t worry, it’s just a nod!) with wonderful Alison Cork who is bringing us a brilliant Today’s Special Value offer.

It’s a luxurious bed cover with a pintuck design that Alison says was inspired by her grandmother’s sewing skills. It’s reversible too, so on one side it is decadent velvet and on the reverse a more relaxed linen – so two great looks in one. It will be available at launch in four colours and the colour you can see in my bedroom is the charcoal. I have been using it just with a sheet on these warm nights and in winter it will be a glorious extra layer of warmth on your regular duvet. See you with Alison for the launch live at midnight, or be sure to watch the breakfast time repeats!

On Saturday into Sunday I will be launching the Dyson handheld vacuum, the V7 Motorhead. I currently use an older version and as this has 75% more brush head power than the V6 predecessor. I look forward to trying it out at home this week. I will let you know how I get on, be sure to check my Twitter for vacuuming updates and join me and Steve from Dyson for the show.

Thanks so much for reading my blog and see you on telly soon!

Big hugs

Craig

Xx

Another fun filled blog! It is so lovely to hear all your latest news.

The throw looks lovely, so versatile!

I have the older version of this and I have barely touched my larger dyson since! Its just so good, and if this one is even better then I would definitely give up my larger machine! If my current handheld ever broke then I wouldn’t hesitate in getting another one to replace it even if it wasn’t on TSV…although obviously it would be better if it was! But since having it I cannot be without it! I cannot rave about it more!

Looking forward to the next post!

So glad you love your handheld Dyson. I must say it is so handy and quick to use. Great to hear you’ll be coming back for a new model one day. I’d be lost without mine.
