Hope you are well and many apologies for not blogging these last 3 weeks, life seems to have been even more jam-packed than usual.
Isn't this weather glorious? I drive past the Chelsea Flower Show on the way to work everyday wishing I had been more organised and got a ticket, what an amazing time to visit it?!
So, where do I begin in catching you up on the life of Craig lately?! I guess a good place to start is my sister's wedding which was a few weeks ago. I had intended to post photos before now but as you can imagine it was important to let my sister decide which ones she wanted to make "official" so to speak.
I hope you like the photos I have chosen to share with you, I particularly love the black and white one of the bride and groom – so evocotive! You can also see the bridesmaids, father and mother of the bride (mother of the bride is in that unmistakable fushia pink!), and one of us partying the night away!!
There is also a gorgeous picture of my sister and her new husband the week before just looking over the harbour in Bristol where he proposed – all together now…aaaaawwww!!
It really was an incredible day, I had the honour of being master of ceremonies and I loved every minute of it, but boy was I nervous when I had to do my speech! I hope it went down well; there was certainly lots of tears, laughter and emotion from everyone in the room. I have posted a little wedding taster video here too which includes part of my speech.
As a surprise for the newlywed couple, I also compiled a photo slide show of baby and childhood photos mixed with some recent ones using my Pandigital photo scanner, they loved it – you can see one here, there were captions with each one telling a story. Great Fun!
I am so proud of my sister, she organised the whole thing, and even though Ellie (her chief bridesmaid) and I went down a few days early to help she had to work relentlessly on every detail. It truly was an amazing day to remember for the rest of our lives.
A couple of weeks after the wedding and after my sister had returned from her weeks honeymoon in Mexico I went back to the west country to catch up with my family, look at wedding photos and also do a bit of bowling!! You can see us all in the bowlplex, out of the 7 of us playing I am not even going to tell you which ranking I came…. lets just say I wont be winning any medals anytime soon.
As well as visiting family in Bristol we also spent some time in wonderful Bath, in the photo you can see me taking in the world famous Bath Spa water. Most people say its horrid but I rather like it, just a shame they only give you a tiny cup – I want a goblet!!
So, thats the last few weeks of what's been going on. I was also lucky enough to be in the south of France last week, I will post some pics next time.
The week ahead should be rather exciting; tonight I am a model in a charity fashion show organised by QVC model and all round wonderful lady Goodey – I will be sure to get some great photos, especially as I am currently trying out a Fuji TSV for next week!
Then on the morning show next week I am interviewing author Susie Pearl about her fantastic book 'Instructions for Happiness and Success', it's unlike anything I have read before, so many self help books can be a little airy-fairy but this is practical, inspiring and even colourful – it just makes you want to read it. I have only just started reading it but already feel motivated to make changes and move forward in some areas of my life. More details on that as well as pics of the fashion show and my trip to France next week.
In the meantime, big hugs and don't forget if you want to follow me on twitter it's craigrowe_tv, or on my Facebook page. Feel free to contact me on either of those or by leaving a message on this blog!
See you soon,
