Here's the film taken of me driving round the Silverstone track in an Aston Martin!

Wow! just watched the video of your drive around Silverstone!! Most impressive, actually it took me back to a ‘lap’ with you in Erdobs on the old Walton Road, at least at Silverstone you weren’t fixing your eye makeup in your ‘Snoopy looking good’ mirror!! I don’t think I’d lke to do that at all, certainly not with any other car on the track, imagine the embarrassment if you hit something!Ben seemed very calm and complementary, he mst see some sights! You did really well to hit such speeds on the sraight, it’s so hard to see where the track is going on the video.
Lovely to see you at mums, we have just had one of their home grown cabbages for lunch and I have made some courgette soup with our courgettes! what a healthy self sufficient family we are!
    All love

Jenny you are funny 🙂 And you have a perfect memory!! I think application of even lipstick would have been frowned upon in the Aston 🙂 Reading your comment reminded me of being driven by Aunty Eileen round to Colin’s house, during her 80th birthday celebrations….?! The fact we’re both here today is a miracle, and I dread to think how the driver of the lime green Fiat she so narrowly missed made it home at all! You are right about the track at Silvertone though.. If it had had dotted white lines and a kerb I’d have been fine! Take care and I’ll see you soon, Love Ali xxxx

How funny Ali – you go to Silverstone on your days out, to race amongst 18 men. I go to Stonehenge to walk amongst mainly over 70’s. Then I wonder why I’m single!! lol!
Looked fab! Well done you! Have put it on my wish list! Alongside tutankhamen’s tomb and a 5* Nile cruise!
See you soon at work – we can compare notes!

Deb I’d highly recommend it, and it’d certainly get the adrenalin going a tad more than a leisurely stroll around Stonehenge tends to! Interesting though that Tutankhamen’s tomb is also one of those places I’ve also always wanted to visit. Perhaps the 5* Nile cruise could happen at the same time! In fact, what about a ‘Jewels of Nile’ show, that we could present live from the pyramids in Egypt?!! You never who we might find for you in the souks! lol 🙂
    Love Ali xx

Susan, I’m working on it!!! I hope that Deb came out with more of a result than colin and I when we took our tour of Stonehenge and finished the guided visit none the wiser as to how or why the stones were there!!!! Have a great week, love Ali xx
