Watch Alfie Boe performing on QVC TV

Opera singer Alfie Boe brightened up our Thursday morning when he performed  two songs live on The Morning Show. The West End star wowed us with his performance of ‘Serenata’ and ‘Volare’, both tracks on his new album ‘Serenata’.

‘Serenata’, which means ‘to sing in your honour’, is a beautiful collection of romantic Italian songs, such as ‘Buona Sera’ and ‘Mambo Italiano’.

As a young boy, Lancashire-born Boe (from the fishing port of Fleetwood) dreamed of a career as a singer.  Having  led the cast of ‘Les Miserables’ for nearly a year, Alfie has gone on to perform at the  Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Concert, and was recently awarded with a Fellowship of the Royal College of Music.

If you missed Alfie’s performances then you can watch them here…
