Viva Espana!

Hi there, thanks so much for stopping by my blog. I’ve had a great couple of weeks as my family and I headed off to Spain for the half term week. It was the first time that my husband, our two girls and I had been away just us four and we had a fantastic time.

We hit the water park pretty quickly as Tilda was more excited about this than anything else. So, much fun!! I haven’t been to a water park for years and I had forgotten what a laugh it is. We had the giant rings to go down the flumes with and Fred and I took it turns to do the big slides with Tilda and the toddler pools with Ivy. She would have done the big slides I reckon if they would have let her!!

My favourite part of the holiday, other than the Gambas Pil Pil and Calamari was a trip that we took to a place called Cueva Del Gato. It’s a natural lake with the most incredible water fall right near Ronda. It’s magical, peaceful and most importantly unspoilt. If you are ever in the area you MUST visit it. Take a picnic and a blanket and enjoy.

I took a lot of QVC fashion with me of course too. The top I am wearing at the Cueva Del Gato is from C. Wonder but I also took with me my jumpsuit from Joe Browns, my Onjenu wide leg green trousers, H by Halston T-shirt (and the kaftan from my previous blog) and I teamed it all off with my hat from Pia Rossini.

The majorly exciting moment of the holiday though was that Tilda swam for the first time unaided. We were all whooping and screaming in celebration. It really did feel like a particularly exciting moment not just for Tilda but for me too. It’s amazing when your kids achieve a goal like this. Proper proud mummy moment.

So now we are back home and it’s already been a busy week at QVC. I am particularly looking forward to my show of Pilgrim Jewellery with Helen Roysdotter on the 16th June at 2pm. I love this range, it’s ‘Skandi Cool’, edgy and incredibly fashionable. Here’s a few pieces to check out before the show. I hope you’ll join us and snap yourself up a few pieces.

Until then, what have you all been up to? Do let me know if you have any great holidays planned.

Love
Katy xx

Hi Katy, it sounds like you had a wonderful holiday. There’s nothing like family holidays – they always throw up lots of memories to treasure. I certainly look back fondly on the ones with my son who’s now grown up and with a little one of his own.
Cuervo del gato sounds amazing I’ll definitely put it in my list of places to visit. We haven’t visited Ronda but the area close by is one of our favourites. Your holiday wardrobe looks spot on too.
I’ve just come back from a city break to Pisa and Florence which I thoroughly enjoyed.
    Thanks for sharing.

Oh Denise I LOVE Florence, I haven’t been for years. It was so beautiful, did you visit any of the monestaries up in the hills? So peaceful. I must do Pisa one day too. Hope you had a wonderful time x
