Vitamix, an exciting TSV and blind destruction!

Well done if you identified last week's mystery picture… It was either a moth or butterfly? I'm not sure but it was resting on our kitchen window – so I seized the opportunity to take a snap! Another at the end of this week's blog.

I love my job and I have a truly exciting schedule ahead of me… I'm not sure where to begin so I'll come onto that in a moment!

How has your week been? Mine has been so busy. The weather has been extremely hot here in London, so I've ensured early morning walks for my cairns as they're not fans of the soaring temperatures – me neither if I'm honest :-)

Blinds Phone

Speaking of my magical little duo, they made light work of our blind a few days ago. I think it maybe beyond repair this time :-( I think they were chasing a fly which was between the blind and the window. I was in the shower at the time and heard this rattling woody commotion. As you can see, I didn't get there in time. But with eyes like these how can I get mad! I truly adore them and we can't imagine family life without our pets. A few weeks earlier one of them made light work of my mobile phone. My son found Bramble burying the evidence in the garden. I was just relieved they didn't break into the battery and hurt themselves.

Doggy eyes Doggy eyes 2

I'm probably painting an unfair picture highlighting all the mischievous behaviour. On the whole, they're as good as gold. They adore company and love nothing more than to chase a ball…or a fly ;-)

Are your pets ever mischievous? I'd love to hear what they get up to. Please leave your stories below in the comments section.

As I write this, I'm loving the tennis. I mentioned in my last blog I play regularly and nothing quite beats the feeling of the perfectly placed volley or ace. I have tickets to Wimbledon and being on court number 1 – I hope the weather holds. I'll be sure to take some photos to share in my next blog.

Links of London TSVSome real excitement on the way. I am thrilled to be launching our very first Links of London Today's Special Value. The design is fabulous – I love the piece. In fact I'm ordering the TSV for my other half which I think she'll adore. The necklace is part of the Linked range, crafted in sterling silver, with one of the two rings encased in an 18 carat gold finish. The price, which I'm longing to share with you (but I may be told off!) is truly phenomenal. We launch our Links TSV this Monday 30th June at midnight… I have a feeling it may not last the day. This beautiful piece is only available at QVC in the UK. I do hope you can join me.

Another show I'm thrilled to be presenting is an hour of Vitamix this coming Wednesday 2nd at 5pm. The tag line we use is.. 'It's more than just a blender'… And it is.

I did buy a Vitamix earlier this year and I'll be honest with you it was a very considered purchase and my other half, at the time, took some persuading. However, I looked at our finances – budgeted, planned and took the plunge. I reminded myself that I do have the 30 day money back guarantee, after all!

Well it is, with out question, one of the best, if not the best purchase I've ever made from QVC in my 15 years with the company. My diet has improved radically and I'm consuming a wide variety of fruits and vegetables which I would normally turn my nose up!

I've had numerous blenders and mixers over the years but the Vitamix takes it to a whole new level. Curly kale and spinach I couldn't bear. Now, they're beautifully concealed in a delicious, tasty smoothie.

The Vitamix is one of my most recommended products and I use it every day… Do tune in to find out more.

Guess the picSpeaking of which, I'm now going to head to the kitchen to conjure up something to enjoy with the tennis :-)

Do join me on Twitter.. It's such fun (as Miranda would say!)

Here's this week's, just for fun, guess the picture.

Take care,

Charlie x

    Morning Charlie.
Oh dear, I’m glad Bella isn’t as mischievous as your 2. Although when she was younger she did love chewing the legs on my dinning room chairs [ £300 a chair], thankfully I did manage to rub then down and re varnish them. She was also partial to going into the laundry bin and chewing dirty socks…..yuk. I’m glad she hasn’t been interested in my mobile phone though, [mind you mine is so big and heavy she wouldn’t be able to lift it.
Yes your right when they look at you with their innocent eyes we melt.
Bella loves lying in the sun during the day but doesn’t like the humidity at night so I have a fan going on her so she can sleep.
Hope the gem photo’s arrived. Talking of which ” Is Destination Gems returning ???” I miss my weekly fix.
    Take care.
Debby. Bella say’s her usual WHOOF and 2 little whoofs to the girls.

Thank you for that preview of the Links chain I am a big fan of the Links range like you. I will be up waiting for it hopefully it will be on easy pay.
I love hearing about the escapades of your two little monsters you definitely have to have a sense of humour when you have dogs. I used to have an English Setter and a Labrador and they were such fun together my husband’s socks were the main victims of their antics but like you we loved them to bits. Sadly they are in that big kennel in the sky now but we often think of them and the fun they were. Keep up the good work on QVC and posting pics of them.

Hello Debby and whoofs to Bella!
£300 a chair… Ouch! My two have chewed on our chair legs, thankfully they’re not valuable! Mine love socks as well, maybe it’s a dog thing?
Destination gems doesn’t have regular slot at the moment – however we do bring the show to air quite often and I’ll be sure to tweet and blog about it before hand!
Take care and all the best

Hello Marie and thanks for getting in touch.
I’m sorry to hear your English Setter and Labrador are no longer with us. It sounds like you have the most magical of memories to help comfort you.
We too had a setter when I was young, called Molly. She was the naughtiest, most mischievous and yet the most loveable dog ever. We miss her to this day. I’ll never forget when she ate all the worms from an anglers bait box whilst fishing… He wasn’t impressed!
    Take care
