Vax Air CordlessTo celebrate this Sunday's Today's Special Value launching the UK's only full-size, cordless, cyclonic vacuum and 10 years collaboration with Vax, we caught up with Vax guest presenter Ben Thomas. We asked him about this fantastic new vacuum cleaner and what he loves about being a presenter at QVC.

"The Vax Air Cordless is a brilliantly versatile, full-sized upright vacuum cleaner. By making just one simple change and replacing the cord with our LithiumLife battery, we’ve changed everything about the way you clean.

Your Vax Air Cordless cleaner needs a little TLC every so often, to help keep on delivering its exceptional performance; here are some top tips for maintaining your vacuum.

1. The most important step is to clean filters, as these capture dirt during cleaning that can block airflow and reduce suction performance over time.

2. Most models contain a washable filter, and some a secondary filter that just needs dirt to be tapped out of it.

3. The Brushbar feature of our upright vacuum cleaners includes a groove along the surface. It allows you carefully slide scissors along the length and cut away trapped hairs.

4. This helps to prevent jammed Brushbars and snapped belts, and is particularly helpful if you have a shaggy pet or long-haired member of the family.

Vax Air Cordless Vacuum CleanerAs for being part of the QVC family, teaming up with QVC over the last 10 years has been really rewarding. For me personally the last three years presenting has been extremely exciting.

I have had the opportunity to meet dozens of new people and working with the backstage crew and presenting team is always great fun. Not to mention meeting all the stars and characters that pass through the studios every day!

It’s been a great opportunity to interact with the extensive QVC fan-base on behalf of the Vax brand and I’m looking forward to many more years working together."

Looks and sounds impressive. I will be watching and I hope there are some attachments for the other inaccessible areas. Wel done Vax you seem to be keeping up with the trends and perhaps when I see it I will say leading the way?
