It might still be a bit murky outside, but that’s not going to stop us from looking ahead to brighter days to come. To help inject a little sunshine into your outfits we’re hosting Jewellery Day on Friday 5th February, and it will be packed full of spring style updates from top brands.
You can shop some of the products from the event online today, so to get you inspired some of our specialist jewellery buyers have been showcasing some of the new trends we’re going to be talking about lots in the coming months…
Pearls have been a mainstay in the jewellery industry since time immemorial, but that ever-presence means they’ve actually been quite old-fashioned for a while – fashion being forever about the ‘new’.
But, thanks to modern culturing techniques and more convincing than ever faux pearls, jewellery brands have been able to create exciting new colours and shapes to make them feel fresh.
Lucy is wearing a gorgeous earring and necklace set from Honora that uses chic fashion colours to give the classic pearl necklace a timely update. And to create a really co-ordinated look, she’s echoed their colours in her sweater, Modalu bag and morganite ring.
Tune in at 11am and 7pm on Friday to find out more about Honora have to offer, and at 4pm for morganite.
Madi is dialling into the Mixed Metallics trend, and it provides a pop of colour to set off her all-black ensemble beautifully. Clashing metals is a great way to express your inner fashion magpie.
She’s wearing Friday’s upcoming Today’s Special Value offer – in fact, she’s wearing both. In a QVC first we’re offering you the choice of two totally different Links of London necklaces, both at incredible value.
Both necklaces are from the Linked range, which incorporates interlocking rings in sterling silver and 18 carat gold vermeil to symbolise strength, eternal friendship and love. The shorter option is an updated design on the Linked necklace we’ve offered before, while the longer option is totally new and only available at QVC – but you’ll need to tune in at midnight on Thursday night to get the full spec. To complete a fab layered neckwear look, she’s added a geometric Pilgrim chevron necklace.
That layered trend isn’t limited to neckwear. A large-faced timepiece is central to any chic wristwear stack, so her Gossip watch more than fits the bill, as does the Pilgrim panther bracelet. The set is complete with a bracelet version of the Linked TSV.
Tune in at 10am on Friday to see Pilgrim designs.
We’re also going to be talking lots about Brights in the coming months, and we can’t talk about brights without talking about Lola Rose! This trend for bold, saturated colour is a great way to experiment with your look and add vibrancy to an office-appropriate outfit, turning it from ‘boardroom boring’ to ‘professional fashionista’ in moments.
Among the pieces featured will our latest Jewellery Icon, the Waterloo bracelet. Available in six colour options (you can see four of them above), it’s a dressier-than-ever take on the popular bead bracelet.
They’re joining us at 8pm when you’ll be able to see loads of their gorgeous designs.
Find all these and more style inspiration with Jewellery Day on QVC, this Friday 5th February!
