Feeling under the weather

Basso Hello! Hope you're well!

I've been a little under the weather the last few days. In fact I was under doctor's orders to take a couple of days off! I'm writing this blog from home, after which I'm tucking into some delicious chocolate cake – just a small slice…. honest :-)

I really missed the chance of being on air with the Ronni Nicole TSV :-( A real shame as I was so looking forward to my first launch with Ouida. However, on a cheery note, I'm launching a fabulous TSV with Dennis Basso this coming Wednesday 7th December at 12 midnight :-) !!

While writing this I'm feeling a lot better I'm pleased to say. It started on Monday after coming off air and heading home. I had a nasty pain in my right lung and my breathing started to become more and more shallow with sharp stabbing pains. I popped into my GP who checked me over and promptly sent me to A & E. It felt a little like a scene from casualty!

I have to say that the doctor who looked after me was fantastic. He ran plently of tests to rule out various possibilities, including a collapsed lung. Well, they took my blood, ran some x-rays, did more tests and I received the all clear of anything serious.

It looks like I picked up a nasty infection/virus. The pills are doing the trick and the breathing is nearly back to normal and the chest pain almost gone…. I have cancelled my game of squash though this week!

I'm back at work on Monday, which reminds me, I have a Premier Tanzanite show at 8pm…If you're looking for a very special piece – do tune in. I've bought several pieces of Premier from QVC over the years – the colour is breathtaking. The first piece I bought was for my daughter – I'm saving it for her 21st!

So a big, big thank you to the NHS for taking such great care of me! Hopefully it'll be a while before I need to visit again!

Take care and see you soon… especially for the Dennis Basso TSV on Wednesday at midnight!

Charlie x

Now, where's that knife for that large (I mean, small) piece of chocolate cake!!

Hi Charlie, when you were not on last Wednesday midnight I thought “he’s stood me up”!! Just joking! I wondered if you were not well, and on another show Dale mentioned you were at home recovering, I hope you are feeling much better and fully recovered after your ordeal. I bought the TSV in blue by the way! Received it today Monday! It’s lovely and I do like the roses and the ruching detail. Hopefully I will see you for your next TSV then! I meant to watch the Premier Tanzanite but forgot as doing jobs, I agree it’s lovely with it’s deep blue colour, I too have a few pieces, I have the same pendant as you bought your daughter! It’s my favourite gemstone and blue is my favourite colour. Cheerio for now and take care, cheers, Christine PS Hope you had plenty of that cake? Sounds delicious!

Hello Christine, thanks for getting in touch.
It was such a shame to miss the launch, but I guess one should follow the doctors advice! I’m thrilled you love your dress, it’s a stunner isn’t it.
Simply love premier tanzanite, the stone colour is divine. Infact, I’m going to go and take a look at our collection a little later on.
    take care

    Hi Charlie
So glad you are much better was disappointed that you did not do the Ronni Nicole TSV but your health comes first and thats the most important thing is to take care of yourself. I’m sure you were spoilt at home and sounds like all that chocolate cake was devine. Looking forward to the Dennis Basso TSV so will be watching. Have you done all your Christmas Shopping and will their be a Charlie Bear hidden this year?
I do hope you are doing the Charlie Bear Shows your so funny with Will and Charlie, we sit down to watch every time their on I’m quite lucky we have two of the bears named after my girls Samantha and Chanelle, can’t wait for the Charlie 2012 bear.
    Take Care Charlie

Hi Charlie, I am pleased you are keeping better, yes you did right doing what the doctor says, your health is the most important thing. Will be nice to see you back but just take things easy. The dress is lovely and being blue will look stunning with the Premier Tanzanite! Did you purchase any items this time? I’ve told a friend to order Liz Earle’s Cleanse and Polish, it’s great and lovely smell. Looking forward to Charlie Bears! They are so cute and I have quite a few! I enjoy seeing you on with them. Take care, Christine x

Hello Angela! The Dennis Basso TSV flew out didn’t it… and I had a lot of fun with Charlie and Will during my show on Saturday. I’d better not say too much but yes, a Charlie Bear will be waiting under the Christmas tree this year!! I have another Charlie Bear show on the 31st – I hope you can join me then.
    take care
