The ultimate ‘aid’ in the kitchen and triple the excitement!

2

Hi everyone,

Well what about this ‘beast from the east’? Hopefully we will be avoiding its onslaught in the next few days and keeping as warm and cosy as is possible, whatever our schedules may dictate.

Do you love baking? Is this the kind of weather that makes you long for hot cups of tea and delicious scones and other tasty treats? (Please ignore (just temporarily) all previous blogs that refer to any type of robust strict healthy eating!)

Listen, we all deserve a treat at times and we have the ultimate in kitchen appliances for our Today’s Special Value KitchenAid!

Now this is an absolute must for every baker in the home. All sorts of cakes, biscuits and plenty more delicious delicacies are created in an absolute breeze with this.

I should know, I sample lots of them, and – confession time – I adore cooking, but I’m not a baker! My son’s girlfriend Anna is, however, the most incredible baker and delights in tempting us all on a regular basis to many of her sweet and tasty recipes (I promise to include photos at some point of a few of her creations! Sadly they’re not usually around for long!)

The first time she used the KitchenAid was to bake a birthday cake, I don’t reckon it lasted long enough in this house for anyone to take a photo! He who hesitates misses out on a great big slice of yumminess! That could be a Dawson motto!

I love my KitchenAid for other reasons, -mashing my potatoes with cream and butter to top a big hearty shepherd’s pie – chucking in the ingredients for delicious Yorkshire Puds for a Sunday roast -whipping up cream in a nano second for an afternoon tea or dessert topping Plus so much more recently got into making peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies, I know, I know – naughty but nice, a bit too nice actually.

I love all of my kitchen gadgets. There’s the KitchenAid, my Ninja, Bamix, Jason Vale juicer, my Vitamix and the Cook’s Essentials knives and holder. This is honestly the most important corner of my kitchen.

So please do try this amazing and simple-to-use piece of ingenious machinery from KitchenAid. It not only looks fab in the kitchen but is a real workhorse, baker or not really. Remember there’s always our amazing 30-day Money Back Guarantee!

And don’t forget Triple Day tomorrow, so many fab offers (in more ways than three!) We have spearheading the day a beautiful Today’s Special Value from Yankee Candle (available online now) perfect for Mother’s Day (March 11th) actually, perfect for any day come to think of it!

So stay with us through this ‘beast from the east’, and remember as they say: “A little of what you fancy does you good”. Don’t you tend to find that those who say that usually have “rather a lot of what they fancy?” Well I tend to!

Never mind there’s always next Monday to start being good again, or the one after that. You know what? I’m going to wait till that ‘beast from the east’ has well and truly gone and spring has sprung. Judging by our current UK climate, that could well be the third week in June!

Only kidding, stay warm and safe.
Anne xx

HI Anne, how did you go in the snow? Lovely kitchen in your photos by the way. And lucky having a daughter in law who is a good baker! Just wanted to say you look great. Think you’ve lost weight x
