True wintery weather!

SnowyHello! I hope you're well and coping with this spell of true wintery weather. I couldn't resist sharing a picture of our snowman with you.

Yes, they are peas for eyes and he measures a mere few inches in height! Snowy (his name) only lasted a few minutes until the pups came along and devoured the peas and tiny carrot nose! Sorry Snowy!

Speaking of the pups, they loved the snow and spent much of their time driving their noses through the snow rather like a plough clearing a road!

To begin with they weren't to sure what to make of the snow, but they soon got over it and were leaping and bounding as usual!

I hope you're managing to stay warm. I'm enjoying hot chocolate more than ever right now (with of course several biscuits with every mug!) and loving soup at the moment which we're making in our cook's essentials soup maker! Dad was particularly impressed when visiting (I'm not renowned for my cooking skills!)

Its been a really busy time at QVC this week. I was on air in the early hours of the morning demonstrating our Prepology whisk/frother. Well… as you can see by the picture to the left, it didn't quite go to plan. The hot chocolate went all over the table.

I should point out that it was human error (in other words my fault!) rather than the product! Which is brilliant!

Rose Quartz and White Topaz Ring - 607564My new show, Destination Gems, is back on air this Tuesday 29th Jan at 8pm. The show has an extra special line-up. Our buyers have been at the Vicenza Fair and many of the designs in my show will have featured at the fair.

Look out for a wonderful mix of Amethyst, Diamond, Pink Topaz, Rose Quartz and Tanzanite! Plus, more in the competition. The designs in the show are so new that several will be on advance order and made especially for you!

Take a look at our competition entries on Pinterest.

If you are, thanks for following me on Twitter, it's been great to see the photos of your pets and snow scenes. If you'd like to follow me and send a picture I'm @mecharliebrook

Right, better dash, the puppies have gone very quiet which means they're probably up to mischief, I'd better go and check!

Take care

Charlie x

    Morning Charlie.
Have you enjoyed the snow??? I guess the puppies have by the looks of it.I must admit I really don’t like it [ we’ve had about 5 inches]. Unfortunately poor Bella has taken a downward turn and has been pretty poorly for the past week. She’s become dependant on the steroids and is really suffering with ” cold turkey”, so to speak. so she’s now back on a strong dose to kick start her again, but it’s a bit touch and go.
We’ll both be watching though tomorrow night [ and looking forward to the rubilite].
    Take care.
Debby [ Bella is now whoofing as she’s just seen you on an ad:].
    A big whoof from bella

Hello Debby and a special get well whoof to Bella from Misty and Bramble.
I do hope she feels better soon. You’re clearly doing everything to keep her happy and healthy. Our pets become such special members of our family don’t they.
The snow has all but gone where we live. The little snowman in my blog was the last from our garden!
Thank you for tuning in to a Destination Gems.
    Warm wishes
    Charlie x
