Here at QVC UK we like to think of ourselves as one big family. After 18 years with us, Tova's written a little something just to say thank you to everyone who has made her QVC UK experience so special.
Tova: In August of 1995 I made my first appearance on QVC UK. I remember the time very well because of the glorious sunshine and all of London was resplendent with banners and bunting to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Victory in Japan Day.
I was dining at the Savoy Hotel when the entire city echoed with the strains of Vera Lynn singing “We'll Meet Again”. Every voice in the dining room and, it seemed, every voice in England sang along with great gusto. It was a profoundly moving experience which still gives me chills when I recall it. The hearts of the entire nation were united and I was honoured to share the spirit and great warmth of the British people.
I have felt this spirit many times during the ensuing 18 years and I can say that it has been a distinct privilege to be so graciously welcomed back, again and again, to enjoy the legendary British hospitality.
As I commemorate and celebrate my 18th anniversary on QVC UK, I wish to express my immense gratitude to the entire QVC UK family. From the unsung heroes of the crew, who make everything run so flawlessly, to the on-air presenters who give their all with each and every show. I have so many happy memories here and have formed friendships that will last a lifetime.
Most especially, I want to thank all of you wonderful QVC UK customers. Your love and support inspires me deeply and has allowed me to achieve this career milestone. I thank you for 18 unforgettable years, and hope that we will meet again in the many years to come.
