The in-laws are here for a week and the kids (and I) are thrilled. As my wife is Norwegian, we don't see Momo og Bestefar as often as we would like so it was a pleasure to welcome them home last night, with the traditional Norwegian greeting of 'Takk for sist' which is difficult to translate but means 'thank you for last time' or 'we had a good time'.
The flag was out to welcome them in and we had a lovely meal and the kids got to open some presents, so it was like Christmas again as far as they were concerned!
I hope the weather holds up so that they'll have a lovely time in the sun (and I'll get lots of help in the garden!!).
