At the young age of 8 (ish), it was clear I was destined to love make-up! (see photo on the left). And I still love to experiment, although not with a moustache!
It seems like ages since I've blogged – I was smacked between the eyes nearly 2 weeks ago with this horrendous virus that I just don’t seem to be shaking very well… but I know you’re itching to know the poll results!
… and, they are in! But, under my hairdresser’s orders, I need to grow out the current colour a little more – so by June we’ll be ready to rock and roll!!
Thank you so much for all your wonderful votes and comments, I had loads of fun reading them!! Yes, no surprise to lots, blonde I am delighted to say, unanimously, came in streets ahead of the other colours so thank you! Let me just quickly answer some of the comments that came alongside the votes…
“high maintenance” – a ha, but in my experience, not nearly as high maintenance as red!
“washes me out” – yes it can do but I'm prepared to make that sacrifice as I love the blonde!!!
“best with my skin tone” – yes I absolutely agree with you, but that shade of red lasts for all of 3 washes so it’s very high maintenance. It may be flattering but it's not for me at the moment!
“too harsh” – I think so too, the irony being that the darkest you've seen me is my natural colour!
Therefore hurray for blonde!
Lots of love x x
