How to wear your fascinator

DicesareHow do I secure the fascinator in my hair?

There are two main ways to attach a fascinator to your hair.

Facinator with a comb attachment:

Push the comb slightly in the opposite direction before you slide it into place, this will ensure that more hairs are woven between the teeth of the comband ensures a firmer grip. Liberally spray the area around the comb with hairspray, making sure to avoid the fascinator. This makes the comb and your hair stick together to prevent it from slipping.

Lastly if you're still worried, try strategically placing a few small hair grips in the area also, just for extra security.

Facinator with a headband attachment:

An easy way to wear a fascinator is to select a fascinator mounted on a headband. The bands should be strong yet discreet and will stay in place without help.

How to care for your fascinator

Fascinators are very easy to care for; as long as you follow a few simple suggestions, it should remain in perfect condition for many years to come.

Always store your fascinator in a hatbox provided when not in use. This will ensure it stays clean, prevents it from becoming dusty or getting crushed.

Try to store it at room temperature and out of direct sunlight, this will help prevent it from becoming brittle or fading.

Keep it dry. If you do get caught in a rain shower, remove immediately and carefully blot dry. Once at home, use a blow dryer to dry completely.
