Our DIY schedule is shaping up nicely. As I mentioned previously the slot is changing from Sunday mornings, to 1pm on Saturdays and we will do two weeks on and two weeks off. We have shows on the 2nd Feb, 9th Feb, 2nd March (2 hour show), 9th March and so on.
We are also going to make the shows a bit more themed so we may have specific projects which we’ll tackle or specific rooms and we’ll make sure we have all the tools and ideas to get you going.
In the first show we have a great range of things to help you start some decorating. The CT1 No Gun (left) is my snag list eliminator and is the stuff I turn to to stick and seal things when I really want to be able to rely on it!
Not everyone wants to redecorate a whole room so the Easi-Flow Touch up bottle is a great idea! You can easily paint small areas with the left over paints from when you first decorated (or a little match pot) and you won’t need dust sheets and newspapers to protect the floors and carpets – as there is no mess!
The Snap 'N Grip universal wrenches are a bit new to me but look really interesting. When loosening or tightening all kinds of nuts and bolts they adapt to the right size and even if the nut is corroded and a bit smoothed off, they still grip. Better still they grip things that aren’t nut shaped (like pipes and taps etc) so really useful.
The guests will be raring to go with demonstrations and tips so join us if you can for the first Saturday DIY show on 12th Jan at 1pm!
