Can you believe that Christmas is only just over four weeks away? I'm always a bit of a last minute lulu but this year I haven't even bought any cards yet – let alone written them. As soon as I finish this I'm off to the shops to buy some!
I have however already bought a couple of presents and I added to that by getting the Thorntons TSV – those smaller boxes will come in handy for pressies, the large one will stay at 'chez moi'!
Tonight's L'Occitane TSV will also be useful for dividing into smaller gifts. There are two options: the Floral and the Warm. If you're a rose lover, you will adore the Floral option as not only does it have the Rose 4 Reines bath and shower gel in the full size, it also has a limited edition full size Rose Petals hand cream. The rest of the collection is Pivoine Flora, Cherry Blossom and Marvellous Flowers.
The Warm option features Verbena shower gel, Ultra Rich hand and body wash & body lotion, Magical Leaves exfoliating shower gel, Vanilla Flowers limited edition hand cream and half a litre of the Delicious Almond shower gel, which smells like marzipan.
Talking of marzipan, that's something else for my shopping list today, the ingredients for my Christmas cake which I will need to make next week. Wonder if I will get away with not doing one for backstage this year?
We've got lots of themed gift idea shows on QVC over this coming weekend so hopefully we'll be able to give you some ideas too. My family always struggle when it comes to buying me presents so lately they have been getting me tickets. Last Christmas it was tickets to see Barry Manilow, which I went to in May, and for my birthday it was tickets to see Michael McIntyre, which Chris and I are going to on Thursday. I'm really looking forward to it as I think he's hilarious, Michael McIntyre that is, although Chris can be quite amusing too!
With two concerts, the Paralympics Closing Ceremony and all the football I go to watch I've been a busy bee, so the icing on the cake was Daniel managing to secure tickets to the BBC Sports Personality of the Year.- mind you, I had to pay for them!
The supermarket is beckoning so I must dash but I hope you'll join me tonight at midnight, and don't miss the final Butler & Wilson show of the year – the Couture Show at 6pm Sunday with Simon and myself.
Enjoy your weekend whatever you are up to, love Julia xx
