Thank you for such a warm welcome

Wow, what an absolutely stunning response from everyone! I’m so pleased to be back on air and thrilled with your comments – do keep them coming! Especially if you have other memories of the ‘early days’ on QVC, and your fave products or guests!

I’m going to do my best to post a reply or two onto the comments section to answer some of your queries, so look out for it. And thanks so much to all of you for making me feel so welcome! In the meantime, here are a couple of those infamous out takes you’ve asked me to find for you – two classics.

Which is your favourite? Or is there an even better one with me or my fellow presenters? I’d love to know.

My escape to Tuscany

I’ve now been on air six out of the past seven days so I’m really glad I geared up for some hard work by taking a very special holiday to Tuscany. Take a look at the clip below – it was total bliss!

Deb's dogs One day, when I grow up, maybe I’ll write a romance novel. Not much time for finding inspiration in my own life at the moment though! In between being on air, meeting people at viewer events and helping new guests, I occasionally get to walk my two black Labradors, Holly and Patch – they’re probably forgetting who I am! Thank goodness for kind neighbours and family. Can’t believe they sat still for this picture – Patch is the grey one, and the daughter, believe it or not.

They help me stay reasonably fit and will hopefully help me lose some of the weight I put on during my office years (more about that in weeks to come). Unless I find another way of slimming down – I think I may have just the thing, watch this space…

Do you like my glam transformation?

At least the topknot’s looking ok though. I’m glad I got my hair updated before my first appearance. It was definitely one of the things that got lovely comments during my first week. Thanks to the talented Richard Ward – watch out for him over the next few months on QVC as a guest! Take a look at this clip before my make-over.

Debbie and Ralph Rossini My first shows last Saturday were with the lovely Ralph from Honora Pearls – lucky me. I loved the Keishi pearls and so did you guys! And Lola Rose, and Tuesday craft, and Diamonique Day – gosh I’ve been spoilt already. And I’ve definitely fallen straight back into old habits having made several purchases already. One arrived in just two working days, amazing!

Find out more next week, and in the meantime let me know if you got your Acer Netbook or your Archos Media Player. What’s impressed you most?

Have a lovely week, will post again next weekend!

Best wishes and love to everyone who remembered me, or sent lovely wishes! You’re a great bunch!

The one that made me laugh when you brought Anne on for her first presentation. I can’t remember the exact words but it was something about you seeing her later and she said something about getting her P45 first. You both laughed and so did I.
Haven’t seen her for ages hope she is ok.
    Glad you are back.
