Yay the sun is shining at last! The kids are back at school, which is a real shame but it will soon be May Day – yippee! I know I’ve said this before but boy this year is flying by.
I just thought I’d take a moment to share with you a new beauty must-have which hasn’t even been on air yet – so consider this an inside exclusive!
James Read, the king of self-tan – with celebrity clients including the likes of Ellie Goulding, Olivia Coleman and Mariah Carey – has an incredible range already BUT (!!!) one of his hot-off-the-press newbies, yet to launch, is my new all-time favourite.
It’s a palette, just like the contouring make-up palettes that are all the rage at the moment, but it’s self-tan! The man is a genius. So you can actually sculpt and contour your face but the contour will develop and last.
I’ve been waking up with cheek bones – it’s amazing! Especially for me, as if I’m not working I tend to not wear makeup and my face looks very flat, but with the Tantour Sculpting Duo I look fresh and awake and – dare I say – younger!
It will even work over your self-tan if you want a deeper tanned look to begin with. Definitely watch this space and keep an eye on Twitter so I can let you know when it’s available, because I think it’s going to go really fast and nobody is getting my sample back, that’s for sure! It hasn’t even launched on the James Read website yet and rumour has it they are getting a waiting list for it building up already.
Also the James Read rosewater tanning mist is coming to QVC, another great self-tan in a light mist that you can do a quick spritz with every day to build up your colour. It’s perfect if you have drier skin as it’s so hydrating and will be really refreshing on a warmer day (we live in hope!).
Meanwhile if you are around this Thursday I’ll be doing a live webchat on the QVC Facebook page and I’d love to have your company. We’ll be talking about how you like to spoil yourself? For me it’s a long lie-in! It’s honestly that simple. I think that makes me pretty low maintenance, how about you?
See you on Facebook tomorrow!
