Take a trip down memory lane with Monday’s TSV

9

An image of how Claire's photo montage blanket will look I had to let you know about such a fantastic TSV that we have on this Monday (26th October). I was so lucky to be asked to try it before the show…

Imagine having super special personal photos, you know those absolute favourites, displayed for all to see. Mine hang on a little ribbon in my kitchen usually, they're the most delicious ones of the children, the iconic moments in my life the pictures. The ones I'd NEVER want to be without, well, they're now beautifully and artistically printed on to a fleece soft blanket!

Can you believe the wonders of technology? The best bit is that you can also include things like tickets and art work – I've included Joe's winning art work and my wedding favour with a poem I wrote and a ticket to watch GLADIATORS!

That was the TV show where I spotted Dan in the audience as I was twirling my pom poms as a member of G -Force!  Dan has squirreled it away for all these years, aaaaah!

Incidentally, I too was thinking help! These are so so important to me I'm nervous to entrust them on anyone. I needn't have worried because the personal service, contact and couriered package containing my treasures totally assured me I was in safe, lovely and professional hands.

I tell you it was fantastic choosing the 40 pictures and it even inspired my last hair style blog! I love to reminisce and waste entire evenings in memory lane… it's highly recommended!

There are ones of my parents and my special Daddy on his first date, I think, with Mummy! There's a really special one of my brother Mark holding Maddie, and my cheeky brother and I when we were little…oh I could go on and on!

I know we'll all be fighting over it and I just know it'll be snuggled under SO much. It made me think what an incredible and unusual present it would make, maybe for your daughter who's just left the 'nest' or a wedding anniversary gift full of photos of a shared and happy life. Or all the babies for the grandparents and lets never forget our adored pets.

The fact is, especially now as we bed down for winter, it couldn't be more practical. I 'm SO excited to be cuddling up in my personally perfect blanket and can't wait for you to see it.

Start thinking over the weekend just which photos and treasures you'd include and any ideas who'd love it. I'd' love to hear and could chat about it in the morning show on Monday.

Lots of snuggly love!

Claire x

    Hi Claire
What a great idea, please please tell me I can have it done even though I live in Mallorca now, or is it only for UK.
I would love to put on it photos of all my friends from London, so I will always see them now that Iam far from them. Can Not wait to that TSV.

Hi Claire. Feeling much better and ready for activities at Centre Parcs. We are travelling up on Sunday ready for LOngleat Safari Park Monday so I hope our Premier Inn has sky as I need to investigate the TSV. As you know I am a scrapbooker/ card maker and this looks brilliant for getting my big box of treasured photos on one picture. I have been sorting through them and sorting into scrap book piles. One for family ones, one for Jack and one for Chloe and there are so many lovely ones. I have done a scrap book of the children as babies up to one year old, each with a picture in for each month and it was really hard to choose 12 pics each but I shed tears as I can barely remember the real baby times. Still the outcome as amazing and I was really chuffed with my first scrap book but it took ages as i am a perfectionist but worth it in the end.. My mum looked at it and was in tears and so was my husband! Have a great half term whatever you decide to do. What was the outcome of the MOnkey Puzzle tree? Love Mary

Will be watching with great interest, photos are so precious.
Whilst cooking the roast dinner for 5 today (yes she’s home!), I enjoyed B&W, that Simon is so cheeky, love his jewellery far too addictive, I bet you felt like a kid in a sweet shop Claire, I know I would!
On the hairstyle blog, I’m a hairdresser so I have sported some, erm… very adventureous cuts not to mention every colour under the sun, not all good, but hey it grows!
    Your hair always looks great.
All the best to the family.

Hi Claire, back from Centre Parcs but missed QVC all week! Covered in bruises from the water rapids and muscles ache that have not been used for 30 years but a great time had by all. Best of all was my sister and I completely showing off with our roller skating talent although not having done it for 30 years it took a while to get the confidence back but my 9 and 12 year old shuffled around the rink in disbelief as we both sped around like a couple of teenagers. Utterly brilliant! Hope you had a good half term. Love Mary

    HI CLAIRE,
HOPING YOU CAN HELP ME OUT; SAW YOU WITH DALE ON GEM FEST……FAB AND YOU LET SLIP SOMETHING ABOUT HAIRPIECES IN YOUR DRESSING ROOM. IS THIS SOMETHING QVC IS GOING TO START SELLING AS I DO NOT RECALL SEEING THEM IN THE PAST. WOULD BE LOVELY IF YOU COULD GIVE ME A ‘HEADS UP’ IF THEY ARE LIKELY TO BE ON AIR IN THE NEAR FUTURE.
LIKE YOU I’M A WORKING MUM WITH A SPECIAL NEEDS SON AND I THINK THAT YOUR SON IS VERY LUCKY TO HAVE YOU ‘BATTING’ FOR HIM.
LOVE TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY,
    JUDITH X
