Take a look at Today’s Special Value

Debbie wearing the Ken Paves hairpiece Today (Friday 19th November) Ken Paves is here with his clever 'up do' hair bands! If you missed my three hours yesterday, this is me in today's TSV, along with his clever clip-in fringe!

I was cheating because I really needed to wash my hair, but these super accessories really did the trick instead. I received so many compliments too.

I revealed all with a last-minute quick-change just before 8pm -    some thought I was mad, ripping my 'hair' out! But hope it helped show how quick and easy these are.

Everyone should have one (or two!), but it's selling fast I hear. I'm off for a girlie day in London with my sister, mum and pal, but will look forward to Dennis Basso hours tonight and over the weekend as Get Gorgeous continues…

Yes I was very pleased with the result of the simple addition of two hairpieces – who’d have thought it!
Yes our girlie day in London was fab! I had a quick analysis of my skin at the elemis skin lab in westfield, amongst other things – it was very interesting for sure! Plus we had a lovely lunch, and an afternoon cocktail/champers/coffee! 🙂

    Hi Debbie,
I saw your hair briefly but didn’t see the shows I’m afraid. I thought you looked stunning!! They really really suited you so I hope you invested in the 2 pieces! Your hair looked darker I thought but maybe it was just the illusion with the ‘do’s’? Your pampering day sounds like heaven so I hope you enjoyed it. Lovely to do with your family. I hope your lovely kiddies are well and happy. Look forward to seeing you next time on the telly. I think you’re a breath of fresh air! Love the way you give your guests the chance to talk.
    Take care

    Hi Debs
Thanks for your comments on fb, and as per your request, here are the comments you asked for.
I purchased the winter shoe grips (I know thats not the proper name, but I hope you know the ones i mean) for my mother in law, she is in her mid 80’s, and lives in Aberdeen. These have to be, without doubt, THE best thing I have EVER bought from QVC. I say this for 1 reason and 1 reason only, and that is, as you know, the weather has been none too good in Scotland of late, and she has told me, that if she didn’t have them, there is no doubt in her mind, she would not have ventured out her front door. So if anyone is thinking of getting them, go for it! you will not regret it!!

Susan – girlie day was lovely! Thanks. Another one with daughter before xmas with a bit of luck long as she finds out the dates she’s home from Bath uni! Just got a part time job (finally!) but erratic hours!
Yes hair is a bit darker – it works better with the Ken Paves hairpieces I think!
Wore another last night for the Gatineau show – cool!

Maria – sorry hon, it doesnt look like he is! But there are a good six or so product videos you can watch on qvcuk.com – kind of like your own bespoke show!
(including the fringe and style-a-do I was wearing, plus the hairband piece I wore on Gatineau last night!

Sharon – thanks for your post! Glad you then went on to locate the grips on our website – lovely comments! You should leave a review if you haven’t!
Anyone else wondering, try looking at these, (and also at the ladies Outback Hi Boot which have really helped me in the snow! Toasty feet – not wet at all!

    Hi Debbie,
I really think the darker hair looks fab on you. Stunning in fact! You have such a pretty face and such firm, clear skin but I think it just brings it out even more. Can I ask you how you find the fringe and style-a-do? Tricky? Do you have to pin the style-a-do in to cover the twist of the ponytail? And the fringe – how doe it stay in place with just those tiny grips??
    Many thanks and keep safe.
    Susan x
PS I thought you had the style-a-do in again the other night coz your hair just looked amazing!

Hehe – susan, yes I did have it in! It’s just so easy now to help it look good on air! lol.
The little grips are solid and firm, they do hold it in place. I just scrape my hair back into a pony tail, using the style a do, then I clip the fringe in place so that the front of it is just over my eyebrows- I havent trimmed my clip in fringe so it sits just right the way it comes! The thing to remember, Ken says, is to put the top clip in place first, THEN clip the two side ones flat.
If you do it send me a pic! (maybe via facebook if you cant do it on here!)
Originally my hair colour wasn’t as good a match, but I’ve changed it of late and it matches far better! I like it darker too, with lighter highlights on top!

Thanks for your help Debbie. I have super thick hair so not sure it would all hold in place but I could give it a try! I have hateful hair!! I envy yours as it looks just the ideal thickness and always super shiny! Take care in this still ongoing ice and snow. Give us a break now…it’s not fun!

Thanks Susan! You have been busy with all these replies lately! lol
Have you tried the elasticizer by Philip Kingsley? If not, give it a go, it may perhaps help a bit? They’ve got some great ‘difficult hair’ products, so do check out the online videos to find out more! good luck and keep warm!
