Take a look at the Royals in bloom!

Trimming the Queen's hairThe Queen receives thousands of flowers every year but today Her Majesty will be offered the ultimate floral tribute – a 6ft high Royal flower pot in the image of her own head!

This amazing likeness is 18ft long, 7ft wide, weighs over a quarter of a ton and took a team of highly trained sculptors, artists and florists over two months to construct. It sits next to a separate Royal pot in the likeness of Prince Philip and we've been touring them around London to celebrate the biggest Royal engagement of the year – the Diamond Jubilee.

Our gardening expert Richard Jackson says: "We wanted to create something spectacular to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee that also inspires Brits to think creatively about their own gardens. Now is the time to get planting if you want a blooming marvellous garden by June!"

See how these impressive sculptures were made in the video below and tune into our garden shows on the 31st March and 1st April to see them for yourselves…

Driving through Greenwich on my way home to Kent last night (21/3/2012) could not believe my eyes when the lorry pulled out in front of us, what a glorias sight, people stopped to take photos and cars slowed down to take in the vision that was coming there way.
