Sunny Days!

Cherry treeHello, I hope you've had a great week!

I live just a few miles from work, near London, and we've been blessed with some incredible weather recently (I hope I'm not tempting fate!)

This is our cherry tree pictured, finally in blossom! Every year it produces the most incredible crop of the tastiest cherries. When we moved in we had no idea it was a cherry tree, it was a lovely surprise that first summer. To be honest, we don't get to eat many of them as the birds tend to get there first and eat them before they're ripe and ready to pick! I wasn't too happy about it at first but like my daughter said… 'Dad, I think they probably need them more than we do – and we can always buy some more from the shop!' It's a fair point!

Studio pic with SamWork has been hectic and a lot of fun. We try to show you behind the scenes when we can. This picture is of Sam getting ready for the Northern Nights show we recently presented together. You can make out the monitors in the picture. The one on the left is known as 'TX' and shows us what you're seeing at home. The monitor on the right is the preview monitor, which, more often than not, shows the shot the director is likely to cut to next.

Some busy shows coming up including my next visit with Destination Gems this coming Tuesday at 8pm. We've had quite a few entries for our Imperial Topaz prize (pictured) It's a bit of fun and so easy to enter. Simply tweet me a picture of you wearing your favourite piece of QVC jewellery! Full terms and conditions can be found here! Also in the show we'll have another gem reveal. I hope you can tune in.

Imperial topaz Ice cream

I thought I'd round off this week's blog with this fabulous concoction from our local ice-cream van! No need to wait for summer for a treat like this!

Take care,

    Morning Charlie.
So glad you all liked the latest pictures of Bella, [ I must admit she is very photogenic—but I think I may be a little biased !!!]. Her siblings were not a patch on her [ from the photo’s that I saw of them]. I took a really funny one of her on Friday sun-bathing, I’ll send it along with my ring photo’s. The vet has read her file and is now trying to help with her condition [ thankfully no confrontation].
Give Misty and bramble a little time and you should be able to get some photo’s.
I think you’d love the Barrier Reef it is out of this world [ not sure if you’d like the heat though–average 38/40 degrees].
If you suddenly get a weird tweet it MAY be from me [ as I said i’m not up on technolagy, it did take me nearly 10 years to learn how to text]That say’s it all doesn’t it ???.
    Take care.
Debby and a big whoof from Bella

Hello Debby and whoofs to Bella!
Wow, 38 degrees… Now that’s warm. I struggle when we hit 25 here in the UK! Good luck with the veterinary care, which reminds me I need to go and pick up some dog food!
Once you get the hang of twitter it’s very easy and lots of fun!
    Take care
