Stephanie Weightman on some fab new craft products!

QVC expert Stephanie WeightmanThe sun is shining today and I can tell that August is going to be a good month, if only because we have more craft than ever on QVC and that alone is enough to make me smile!

Today (Wednesday 1st August) I will be showcasing one of my favourite kits this month on the show at 2pm. It is simply amazing!

I even got the opportunity to see how the product is made. Using some new machinery that gives a very smooth flat finish we have a collection of everyday silicone moulds, with 19 designs in the set.

Silicone moulded flowersThe permutations you can create are endless. You can mix and match the flowers and the leaves allow you to create magical bouquets, while the cameos mean that you can create the most realistic jewellery. The clock, teapot and key designs complement the floral script stamps launching on the show.

The cute dove mould works perfectly with the new oriental moments Midas Metallics and the little owl looks incredibly cute on cup cakes made in icing… That is just a few of the ideas I have tried!

I hope you can join me for more ideas and inspiration, we are hoping to get some real close ups so you can see the detail on these fabulous embellishments.

Butterfly and dove greetings cardCombined with the other new items – floral stamps and mini tape dispensers – plus some back in stock kits on the show, the week's of work on the samples are sure to inspire you.

The sample design team, who are so giving in sharing their ideas – Caroline, Emma, Sandy, Linda, Sheenagh, Liz, Diane and Nancy have all put together cards and projects to give you as many different styles of crafting as we could manage. Something for everyone, I am sure.

I hope you can tune in today (Wednesday 1st August) at 2pm and join me!

Check out our craft department.

    Just watching the show. Fab.
Love the fresh new approach today. A good mix of products and examples, instead of sell sell sell.
So nice to hear you mention the Doncaster Craft Show, I loved it.
    Back to watch the prog.

Plz can we have a special crafter’s time back? I now miss most of the shows as I never know when they will be. You must have lost a great deal of sales because of this. I like Steph and would love to see her on a regular basis.

Hi I emailed a while back now asking for more craft shows, I sent my request through your customer service side and as of yet never got a reply. A keen steph fan though disabled these days look forward to catching the craft shows when I get the chance. I try look at your listing via the tv but never seem to catch the craft ones as they are now so infrequent. You have some very talented crafters working with you give them the space to work and let them do their magic, QVC used to be a regular slot I was guaranteed a purchase from you have only to check my account to see how little I return now. Give us back regular crafting shows.PLEASE big plus for you guys are your British customer service people great bunch of guys and girls get tired of ringing India

So glad Steph is back with us. She has a lovely personality and is so genuine. Have missed craft very much on QVC, and it surely must have made a difference to your craft purchases. Perhaps you have realised how much custom you lost by not having more craft. Anyway, glad you now seem to be on the right track. WELCOME BACK STEPH!!!
