There are some really innovative and surprising ranges around to get your teeth into on QVC, especially if you’re looking for something different to wear. Tomorrow, Tuesday 22nd February, I’ve got a 3pm show with fashion by Onjenu with the owner/designer Mena Ryan and also at 5pm stylist Gemma Sheppard will be along to co-present a show with me featuring Logo by Lori Goldstein. It’s quite something to have a range on offer that’s designed by the Editor-At-Large of ELLE magazine, one of the world’s most revered style bibles. I can’t wait to show you what we have for that hour.

Spring Skin

One of my most favourite ranges that I use on my skin every day is Elemis. If it’s not the Rebalancing Lavender Toner for my combination skin, then it’s the Pro-Collagen Marine Cream – which has been my preferred daily moisturiser for the last two-and-a-half years. Last week Emer Gillen from Elemis and I got together for a catch-up, because this Sunday we’re going to bring you a full hour of this brilliant British skincare brand, which is now 25 years young. She’s introduced me to the Nourishing Cleansing Oil, which has been quite a leap of faith for me. An oil as a cleanser? Definitely it’ll feel unusual, especially if you’re like me: a bit sceptical about how oils can work on your skin, but it’s actually a surprisingly nice feeling when you warm it up in your hands, indulge in the uplifting aromas, and then rub it into your face. And then  – just when you thought the feeling couldn’t get any better – the warmed oil turns into a milk on your skin once you splash water over your face. I like to wipe it all off with a flannel. I use it in the morning when I’m a bit short on time, because it makes for a real fast, time saving cleansing routine, and that seems to work.

The Oil is part of this five-piece collection which includes items from the Pro-Definition range. A superb range to get into if you’re looking to step-up your anti-ageing skincare regime. Check us out at 12 noon on Sunday 28th February, you never know what else you’re going to discover in that hour.

Builders in my bedrooms!

After 2 months of living surrounded by unpacked boxes, we’ve finally got a start date for the builders to get cracking at our place. They’re around this week to make 2 rooms into one, plus a whole bunch of other tasks. Here’s what they both look like right now, when it’s all done, I’ll show you the finished article. Wish us luck during the upheaval!
