It’s Spring watch at home for me at the moment. Whilst half of me fancies a good bout of snow – as my Mum had in the North of England last week briefly! – the other half of me is looking for any signs of Spring, which I think we’ve felt this weekend!
I keep feeling very inspired when I see Richard Jackson in the building.
It started with his compost. When I put all my bulbs in I changed the soil in most of my pots. Then I heard him talk about the difference between his bird food – no more buying odd packets from the garden centre for me!
It gives me such pleasure seeing them feasting in the garden!
And then last weekend I was tempted by the beautiful miniature apricot trees that you can grow in pots and that bear fruit! They should arrive any day.
I am still waiting for my bulbs to flower, but the daffodils have just started, which is lovely, especially as I didn’t plant them until rather late this year.
I was also very excited to try my new Vax Carpet Cleaner!
Had a rather large spill of milk on the hall carpet the other night, so was delighted to remember I had been tempted by it when I saw it on air a few months ago. Absolutely the perfect thing when something like that happens, and in reality the cost of getting the professionals out would have been very costly!
Have a look at the colour of the water – and this is a no shoes carpet I cleaned!
I shall be doing them regularly from now on. Brilliantly simple. Dried really fast, and just fantastic to be able to do myself.
Thank you Vax!
Hoping Spring is on it’s way to you, wherever you are! Are you seeing any signs yet?
