Spring begins with Jewellery Month, a giveaway, and more!

Storm watchDear all, I hope this finds you well and rested after the weekend, I'm actually enjoying my 'weekend' now as I worked Sat/Sun.

In this week's 'Blog of The Fox', I'll be giving you a chance to win a signed copy of a beautiful book written by one of the UK's best loved daytime presenters – Lorraine Kelly OBE – more on that later.

Thank goodness spring managed to rummage around and eventually find its invitation to join us in the UK! Richard Jackson has, again, promised us a warm spring and summer to look forward to. Well, he's been right twice in 20 years at QVC – so hopefully this year will make it three!

As always, there's plenty to look forward to at the Q this week as well. As Jewellery Month continues, I'll be presenting an hour of our ever popular Eternal Jewellery on Wednesday Evening at 11, there's bound to be something for everyone and watch out for something at a particularly low price ;)

Then, on Thursday at 6pm I'm back with STORM watches – I'm delighted to be presenting this show again as I had the pleasure of joining co-founder Anna Lee for our premiere show before Christmas. This London based brand really brings a wonderful, eclectic range that has a global following. Plus, as you'd expect, we have negotiated some great offers for all the family. At the top is a picture of a watch I've been wearing on-air recently that has received lots of compliments.

Whilst Richard Jackson is a worthy contender for "The World's Worst Weather Forecaster" award – he would also be, in my mind, a serious contender for "The World's Best Gardening Expert"! I have learnt much from Richard over the years and he will bring us his Plants & Flowers Health Kit at a TSV price on Friday 14th.

Lorraine Kelly's ScotlandI'll be with him at 7pm in a QVC Selection hour, which will also feature 'Lorraine Kelly's Scotland'; a beautiful book that you can order on QVC with a personally signed bookplate! Lorraine herself will be in the studio with me and I'm really looking forward to chatting with her about it.

The book is not a guide to Scotland but a personal journey to some of her favourite places, together with interesting facts and stunning photos taken by her husband Steve.

I'm reading through it now and it would certainly make a wonderful Mother's or Father's Day gift for anyone who shares Lorraine's love of the history and beauty of her beloved Scotland.

How would you like the chance to win your very own copy ?

COMPETITION NOW CLOSED

You can enter for that chance right now by simply showing your interest in the comment section below. Please make sure you include your full name as soon as you can, then all received names will be entered into our 'randomiser' (I love that name) and we'll announce the lucky winner during our QVC Selection hour on Friday the 14th at 7pm.

Full terms and conditions are available online here.

Thanks to all new followers on Twitter – remember you can follow me @dalefranklintv for news on upcoming shows, One Time Only offers, and a bit of banter :)

I had already decided that this summer was going to be the year where I discovered my native Scotland. I hope to visit Lewis and Harris and possibly Orkney. Lorraine’s book would be a cracking tour guide and I could follow her recommendations of what and where to visit.

Lorraine always speaks so positively and fondly of Dundee and Scotland. I’m sure her book will be a great success and it will be thoroughly deserved .

One of the greatest days of my life was when I sat on the sofa with Lorraine on Daybreak telling the world I had conquered my Agoraphobia. Also my late Mum was born in Scotland and I would love to go and see where she was born.I don’t know how to spell it but it was a little place called Balestone
